2010.06.21 - Bone found in river not Haleigh's

  • #41
I may not be reading everything right, but it sounds like LE is talking about one bone, but RC used bones, plural.

I would think that to mean some alligator or animal bones as well? Remember when they took Misty down there, that there was a pile of bones laid out for her to see. Just a thought.

Agreed, it's a bit odd remark. It sounds to me like he's known all along that the bones aren't Haleigh's and so it comes as no news to him and he's just glad that everyone is on the same page with him now.

Maybe it's because LE told the family early on that the bones were too large to be Haleigh. But I guess not if LE didn't advise them of the find... :waitasec: The more sinister explanation is that he knows very well that the river search was a sham and this is not where Haleigh bones could be found.

LE telling the family? Not sure that would be the case either. LE even put out a presser saying that "No Bones Were Found In The River". They claimed it to be rumor. I know most want links for back up of what is said, but heck even LE is not being straight up with anyone. Not that they have any obligation to, but that is how the rumors start and keep going. In this case I believe LE as much as I believe the players sad to say.

Which shows the cops in this case can lie and lie and lie to us, and there isnt a dang thing we can do about it.

Well, I am not sure what to believe anymore. First LE says no bones were found. They even put out a presser saying no bones were found to stop the rumors. Yet we now find out "A" bone that was found was likely of a Native American. So, even in a presser LE can tell mis-truths. Heck with all the players being liars and LE also telling stories, I just don't know what to really believe and it is frustrating. I can understand that LE has to keep everything close to the vest, I just wish they would just say "No Comment".
I will sit here now and wonder if other bones, teeth, or items that may of been found are related to the Haleigh Investigation.
yeah, this really makes me rethink how hard LE came down on bloggers. I remember seeing Art Harris's picture showed on their local news, when they were reporting that LE wanted the 'rumors' stopped, because they were hindering the investigation. But now we find, that LE is starting their own rumors. no surprise there.

It is truly discusting (not to mention sad,) what has been allowed to happen, oh, I mean not happen in this case. The LE down there, I don't know what to say....waterboarding anyone?

:waitasec: Is it just me or does this reaction not seem strange? TN said that Ronald said, "He's glad that everyone knows that the bones aren't Haleigh's,". I would of expected a grieving father to say, thank God they are not of Haleigh or something to that effect. Instead all he cares to say is " Glad the Public Knows they are not her bones" Not that he is glad that it was not her bone? :waitasec: Odd, Maybe it is just me.

This statement reminds me of his disappointment with Misty statement. weird. but I get the impression, that Ron is choosing his words, very very carefully-in a legal, can't come back & bite him kind of way. kind of like when he claimed to discipline Haleigh the way DCF allows.

To me it just screams he knew the bone or bones in the water were not HaLeighs. It reminds me of Casey Anthony being smug about Lennys river search once upon a time.

In one of the interviews, the bone expert says that he looked at the bone and immediately knew that it was a Native American's. I'm thinking that LE probably knew all along that it wasn't Haleigh's but tested it anyway as a formality. So why release the results to the public? They've already told us that no bones were found, probably because they believed the bone to not be Haleigh's. Is this their way of admitting that they were duped by those (something) [unusual people] into searching the river? Why release this information?
