Cindy talking about wanting to see casey and who cares about the media releasing the videos, I just think it's funny that Cindy says "... whether it's just to say I love you or all the mistruths of what has been done and said about you", and then not once, but twice, writes "imbarrassment" with an I.

I know we often talked about CA's mental health, but I really do think there's something that needs to be diagnosed. For some odd reason, I can't get this image out of my head...it's Cindy and she's getting into (or out of?) the back of the limo and she looks like the cat who ate the canary. She seemed to be having such a grand time going on the media tour. Then her response to Casey when she told her she'd seen her on tv...which one sweetheart? Now this. There are some serious problems there. IMO

We may have an answer to why George wasn't at two of the hearings, which were held after her letters were released saying he'd molested her. In George's March 25, 2009 letter, he writes:

"Casey Marie, where do I begin?? Well, met with Jose and Chaney Mason on March 24, Jose in Chaney Mason's office delivered me disturbing news and ask me 2 heartbreaking questions?

You know what 2 questions he asked? and I am num (sic)...

Why, why also destroy Lee?
Why, why also destroy Mom?
Why, why also destroy me? Your family
Why, why also destroy Caylee Marie?

After all I have tried, sacrificed, continued to have you, my daughter, why??
Continually coming to court, continually waiting to see you, why???"


is all it says. not signed papa joe, no wish for hugs and kisses, no underlined maniacal "i love you" s. nothing.

URGH How can Cindy really write that to Casey?
How can they act so blind..I see through George and Lee..George's words in the letter show he knows and is begging for her to end this and just confess and Cindy acts delusional. She knows the truth but doesn't want to believe it and will do anything to keep Casey from death

A gentleman from Vermont on 12/11/09 shares with Casey his hope that she will not get the death penalty, followed by the fact that "Many centuries ago, Parents had a legal right, to kill their children without the court prosecuting them for murder, in Europe." He then goes on opine that, as much as he is "against abortion; if, some people, were aborted, before they were even born, we probably wouldn't have as many Mothers dying, while giving birth, and, children, wouldn't be hurting, and, or, killing their Parents."

He goes on to muse about how he should write a book about his life someday ("...maybe, someday I will.") and then promises to send her money in January.

I know it's not required by Sunshine laws, but I really wish these people's addresses were redacted.

I know. (And it's interesting what gets redacted and what doesn't in the media for example and by us.) I do believe in the principle of the Sunshine law, the transparency is good and can be very important for justice. But it is sad when people who appear to be completely unrelated to the case (and who also probably had no idea about the Sunshine law), just send her a prayer, for example, or the people who sent well-meaning tips, or sometimes notes by people who might not be completely stable or clear thinking, misguided love notes or whatever, and get their name and address put out there.....Nancy G has actually read out names on national TV before of people who had just sent Casey a few bucks for the canteen, for example, presumably to embarrass these people. That's the downside of the Sunshine law for sure.
In contrast, you sometimes see an almost sanctimonious attitude regarding the "privacy" of other people, even some people very close to the case. LOL It appears to be selective.

I noticed Cindy sent several pictures of Caylee in the car. A subtle way of saying, "I know what you did", maybe?

I am finding the above underlined/bolded comment particularly interesting....wonder if anyone has clued Cindy in that her "band o' broads" haven't made much progress in that area during the last year and a half :twocents:

My favorite fan letter comes from a 54-year-old guy who says he has many prison pen-pals and sends them money. He said he heard the prosecutor wants to give Casey the death penalty. Then he mentions he's wishing her happy birthday three months early in case she doesn't live to see her 24th birthday. I dang near wet myself on that one. :floorlaugh: The guy made up for it by asking how much money she wanted him to send: "$100? $200? $300? $400?". We all know KC surely told him, oh, just send me $100. :innocent: (begins page 15178)

Also, remember this...Since I spent a year (well 9 mnths on the year) in jail, I know for a fact that no matter who the person is in jail, even if it's a well known person like yourself, they CAN NOT read your mail/letters. They just open incoming letters just to check for money, drugs and/or contraband. And the letters you write to people, the DO NOT open them because you seal them before you give them to the guards to mail out. They can't read mail because it's an invasion of privacy.

It will help you pass the time if we become pen pals! I worked for a lawyer for about a year before I violated my house arrest & went to jail for a year, so trust me about the letters regarding Invasion of Privacy.
