I am very sorry about your friend, and for what you witnessed and endured. The clients in my firm who chose to publish their address didn't want to be harmed either...far from it. They made decisions based on many factors with their ultimate goal being to stay alive...and I resent any implication that someone who puts their address in an RO isn't 'really afraid'. One client did so because he knew he would only be truly safe if his ex were in jail...and the quickest way to put the ex in jail was to have them violate the RO.

KH might not be 'really afraid' of TH...but keep in mind that he truly believes that she is responsible for Kyron's disappearance. And keep in mind that in KH's case, he knows that LE is keeping track of every move that TH makes. I doubt that he really needs an RO (police presence in TH's life makes it very hard for her to do anything to him, IMO)...it's more likely a tactic to put pressure on TH. He wants to find Kyron, and he thinks that this kind of pressure on the person he thinks is responsible will help...despite any danger giving out his address puts on him, I'm guessing that he thinks it's worth it if it ultimately helps him find out where Kyron is.

I should have not said Kaine might not be really afraid as I am sure she is under continual surveillence. However I know that if someone wants to violate an RO it is all to easy and can be over for the person wanting protection before the violator makes it to jail. In reality they are a formality that doesn't offer a lot of protection for the ones who really do need them. If Terri wanted Kaine dead, then he would have been with or without the address. She would have found him somehow. They all seem to.

IMO, if I was going in front of a judge, I would wear my bestest..

I live just 1 mile from Skyline. My husband works for the #2 employer in Oregon -- KH works for #1. I asked my husband what he would wear (and yes, he is an engineer) for an appointment with a judge and he said he would wear a suit (he wears EVERYDAY jeans and a casual shirt for work!!). Question why someone wanting to impress the judge and wanting to wear a t-shirt and shorts:??????????????? However, I still think TH is guilty...

"It is one of the upmost concerns of my client that her daughter be in a safe, well-cared for circumstance," Houze said.

"I suggest 96 hours, Monday afternoon."

It could be that Terri has the best interest of baby girl in mind.

Maybe. It could be that her lawyer told her it was in the best interest of her daughter -- she might need reminding, if she's the one who made Kyron go missing.

Or maybe she needs time to pack her stuff *and* clean the house, if she hasn't been keeping up with that, and/or repair any damage she may have done in anger. I'm not accusing her of these things, btw, just supposing. She sure doesn't want the next meeting with the press to include KH saying how the place was a pigsty or had been damaged when he moved back in.

Kaine's life has fallen apart in every way. I give him credit for not coming to court in PJ's.

I have been just mildly stressed and wore a dress inside out.

Dr. Fess, I don't think the ruling is in regards to ownership of the home. Kaine wants to move back in with baby K and Terri is not contesting the request. Seems she is well aware that the witch hunts and death threats could put her baby in harms way. She is moving out to allow Kaine and baby to move back in. moo mho

In all fairness..the reason Kaine got a restraining order..was partly due to death threats..from Terri herself . I really dont think anyone would want to harm the child.

And your correct shes not contesting it. However to start with her lawyer said she was agreeable to moving out. Then it was changed to she wants money to move out. And after today its not that simple..she needs to know what items Kaine and K need in the house. It seems to be changing all the time.

At this point that might be the least of what has been said. I just do not see her as caring about criticism of her housekeeping. JMO

TH and her attorney are not contesting the RO. The hearing in Sept. is about the contempt of court charge. The RO stands.

Do you have a link for that? I thought the party they were not contesting is the moving out and that the hearing for both that and the RO were for next Thursday, and then KH wanted the hearing on when she moves out moved up.

TIA

We don't know why KH wore the outfit he appeared in today.

Out of respect for the Court, he should have been nicely dressed, but we don't know how much notice he had, or the circumstances. It could be that he is just so torn up over Kyron being missing that he wasn't thinking straight. The parents must be totally flattened by this. It must take incredible love and strength and hope to be able to do anything, I would think.

I cannot imagine how hard it must be to get past the terror, the fear, of what has happened or could be happening to one's child. Is he alive? Is he safe and well-cared for? Is he being hurt, molested? Is he dead? Did being killed hurt? Did it take long? Did he know what was going on? OMG, this is a little boy these things could have happened to! And he's not just any little boy, he is theirs.

Well if your hub had taken leave from his main residence in a hurry because of what he learned to be detrimental to his wellbeing - than just maybe he would not have grabbed his professional clothes.

I also thought it was HUNDREDS of pics of dressing and undressing until another member corrected me. It was a few pics of undressing and hundreds of texts.

I was alarmed at the thought of Terri undressing and dressing 10 times a day and taking pics of herself, sending them off via her cell phone. For the first time, I thought she had shown her underlying mental health issues - I was wrong. Two pics, I can't get upset about. Poor judgment, sure is...but she is alone, with nothing to do and with strict instructions to NOT talk to the media. Thank goodness.

Another thing, we don't know if the RO pics were taken with her permission and we don't know how serious she was in the MFH plot, for all we know it was a fleeting wish or a joke moo mho

Do you have a link to where it was only two pictures at all please?

I just think that I would do everything possible to convince the judge that my side (wearing really good clothes would be on the good side, pjs NOT on the good side) that I was the responsible party and not my soon to be ex partner.

My father has to be one of the most casual men I know ( actually I think aliens swapped my father with one of their life forms because when I was growing up he wore a suit and tie everyday) BUT in our/his line of work there are times when we have to meet with various guv'ment agencies and have even been to court. He wears his very best. I took an informal poll of the males in my life. They come from varying backgrounds. Most of them are young and drive lifted trucks. They all stated that they would even borrow nice clothes if they had to. Now of course on the other hand, KH could just be so tired and worn out and just trying to make it through each day that he is not really considering his wardrobe. Ya know?

JMO There is a 1% degree of error in all my informal polls. No young children or animals were interviewed. Or harmed. I think.Maybe the cat.

Mr. Houze said Terri was now getting death threats. I think she doesn't want baby with her if there is a chance of her (Terri) being harmed. Houze did say he took the threats seriously.

I have to disclose that I don't have Terri pegged as a psychopathic murderer. I have yet to see any concrete evidence she is guilty so once in a while I try to look at the positive side of explanations.

Did you ask what they would wear to court if their 7 year old son was missing for days???

Me? Yes. I did. They all know that I have been following this case closely. In fact I told a story early on of my son putting a tree frog sticker on his truck. In fact one of the men I asked recently lost his daughter to a drunk driver. He is going to attend the trial. My son and his friends are VERY protective of my youngest child and my grandchildren. They have a great sense of family and what that means. So yes, I did. But you have to remember these people have been raised with southern traditions. and not the overhaul wearin kind.
