Well, this argument could be used for this entire case, IMHO. We don't know that Terri was mouthing off about the LDTs, we take Desiree's word for it. We don't know that Terri was being self-centered and worried about herself in the days after Kyron was first missing. We don't know if Terri claimed that she was driving around to soothe baby K's earache, we take the reliable source's word for it.

If the basis for commenting or forming an opinion was based on what we heard and us being there when it happened, then none of us should have an opinion about any of this, IMHO.

The problem is...you say we take the sources word for it...are they ALL wrong and shes innocent or...??

They should each pay their attorney fees. Kaine should not expect Terri to pay half of his, he's the one who filed for divorce. Not sure, but I think the petitioner pays the court costs and filing fees. Least they do here.
If she is not contesting the divorce, she might not even have to show up.
Been there, done that, skipped the t-shirt.

I think Oregon is like here in WA. They base it on finances, who can afford (not that anybody can) it. Husbands ex filed and we are stilll paying for both t-shirts. She didn't work.

I really don't care for ALL this tit for tat, but wasn't it one of TMH's friends who first revealed TMH had failed an LDT and was complaining about being inconvenienced in reference to having to take another one... I really don't recall DY or KH mentioning any of that in the beginning.. That information came from TMH's friends..JMO

Let me say this very nicely so I don't get banned. I'm sure Teri is very confident where she disposed of kyron that he will never be found so she doesn't have to worry about going to trial with NO body. When the divorce is over, which will be paid for by kaine since he made sure she was unemployable {snark}. Teri will be free to live her life and I'm sure with lots of media money from book and movie deals. She will be carefree, able to travel and not work from her big pay day. Hurray for Teri..the good life.

Kaine on the other hand will be a broken man riddled with guilt and pain from the loss of his son, always looking over his shoulder for some sniper trying to kill him. Teri has made kaine a broken man probably with little will to live, unable to see the pretty things in life...just wracked with grieve.

Teri needs to take the higher road and slink away and let Kaine heal. I cant comment anymore...I need to cool down and take deep breaths.

This is just so unjust for Kaine. it's all wrong. I have NO respect for Teri!!!

That's one of the problems with the proliferation of citing 'unnamed sources' in the the reports across multiple news outlets in this case. If there were just, say, one or two unnamed sources, then I think there would be more chance of them being reliable. If there are 6 or 10 or 20 or 30, well, the more there are, I think the more indiscriminate the reporters are being, and the less likelihood of reliability.

But your question can't be answered, because we don't even know how many unnamed sources we're talking about, let alone who they are, how close to the case they are, what their roles in the case are, how reliable they are, etc.

IF her attorney has evidence she had done nothing wrong then why she isnt fighting for her daughter?

I find it telling she will fight for her divorce bills to be paid and yet not fight for her own baby.

Maybe, just maybe, she realizes, or has been told that she is not well enough to look after baby K atm, and really does have her best interests at heart.

I'm certain he'd be happy to pay whatever he has if he could mandate she testify in court on certain aspects of the divorce. Or, undergo the psych profile.

Sorry for the OT, but I missed this. Did TH refuse to undergo a psych evaluation?
A profile could be done without her. ...or maybe I've just been watching too much criminal minds- lol.

And what if there is only one reliable source that is running around saying everything and that person doesn't like Terri? I don't think it makes a difference how many there are actually. I just want proof they are 'reliable' I won't even listen to the 'unnamed' sources. What about the sources close to the investigation? How close are they? Are they messenger boys running between the LEO and the DA?

IIRC, her friend said only that Terri was taking another one, then there were rumblings by unnamed persons that she'd failed, and the first ones to say flat out that she failed were K/D/T.

I don't think Terri paid Houze 350,000. I don't think anyone loaned her that money. I don't think anyone gave it to her as a gift. I think someone else hired Houze to represent Terri. Maybe more than one person even.



ETA If you read Houze's web site you will find that he represented someone who works at Intel at a reduced rate. That rate was said to be more than 6 figures. Reduced rate more than 6 figures. That's a lot. The guy was accused of terrorism.

Depending on where the money came from yes he would be, regardless if he has already filed the divorce is not final.

One way to my knowledge that he would not be able to get half is if Terri had the money prior to the marriage, she would have to prove it but he would not be entitled to it at all....
