Who is this witness and what is their connection to George and the case?

According to Rick Plesea, Cindy's brother says it was Cindy that forced him to quit, in order to work with his father at his Car Sales co and make as much money as his brother in law did - when GA and his Dad couldn't get along, he then mortgaged their house to start his own car sales- when that went bust they lost the house and moved to Florida...

Yes, I don't think they can get his Psych records, that is priveleged.... AZ Lawyer can probably correct me on that.
I can tell you from the sequence of events that it was not considered a serious attempt, more a gesture.

Not murder. Sexual abuse as Casey alleges. They are trying to save her from death and ladies and gentlemen of the jury - if there is any doubt in your mind ab out sexual abuse, please, please think about the effects it would have on anyone. God bless you all.

I googled the subject and a lot of research has been done on the topic by independent as well as government sponsored studies. Seems that victims of paternal abuse especially suffer from an inability to develope a healthy self identity and often suffer from BPD among other serious psychologocial and social problems.

Also this happens within families more frequently then most of us could imagine. So it's not impossible that it happened to Casey.

I'm wondering if they are doing this to use his instability (suicide attempt) as a way to discredit his grand jury testimony. In order for the defense to do this, they must be afraid of something GA knows or that they think he knows.

We really don't know for certain exactly what George testified before the Grand jury, do we? We do know an indictment came down rather quickly, we know George had a very hard time of it that day, and we know that Mark NeJame was representing him. Ever since then, George did a 180 degree turnaround, and publicly proclaimed his support and belief in Casey's innocence. The suicide 'attempt' was rather questionable, IMO, (i.e., George letting Brad and Cindy know, detailed letter he wrote, ordering pizza and beer, not truly ingesting meds, had taken his Rx meds with him to hotel etc.) So again I am wondering if this isn't all part of the plan and has been all along, at least to help during the sentencing phase of the trial.

To answer your question, I do think perhaps George knows more than we think ("George, you're a man who knows a lot about a lot of things") but I wonder if George isn't also simply going along with a "saving Casey" crusade.

What's really urks me is these are the types of reports and statements that should have been investigated a long, long time ago by the defense and they're just doing it now? Makes me wonder how much of this investigating is really being done now, or was done way back when the reports were done and Jose is just now trying to get payment for his investigator ...
What I would like to see is a total cost breakdown of what actually HAS been paid for these types of investigation, expert investigation of evidence, etc prior to filing for indigent status ... it sure isn't looking like much ...

It seems now the FL taxpayers are footing the bill all of this type of "investigations" is being submitted for payment ... what on earth HAS been paid for by Ms Anthony and team Baez ?? Apparently only Jose's fees have been paid ... :furious:

I believe that this "line of thinking" has been made more than evident by the defense team. Let's recall the most recent hearing where JB offered his "best efforts" to gain a statement

.....from Cindy that would corroborate that GA was the one to "plant in her mind" that the smell was a dead body.

From Lee that would corroborate that GA TOLD Cindy about the smell before the last 911 call.

From Cindy's co-worker...that would corroborate a timeline for odor identification.

If the defence is going to accuse George of sexually abusing Casey, then they are certainly going to accuse Cindy of emotionally abusing her. I mean that accusation against Cindy has basis in fact, we all thought the same when we read the letters Cindy herself wrote to Casey in jail ~ and we've all seen Cindy in action. Wheels / Bus / Cindy ... I totally agree with you ecs5298!
