Guilt or innocence is completely outside of AL's concerns or her crusade. Most of her clients are in fact guilty. She does her work in the sentencing phase, and her crusade is to prevent the DP. LWOP is a huge win for her.

I have come to the decision that I would prefer LWOP for KC. The DP means an instant appeal that will keep her secluded in a private cell on death row while the appeal takes years and years and years. LWOP means general pop. :dance:

Does anyone think George HAD sexually abused Casey? Does anyone think George was sexually abusing Caylee?

I don't, but I am just wondering if anyone else actually does?

I don't personally have any experience along these lines but have read numerous articles along the way. Is it not true that often times a female victim of sexual abuse by her father may never say anything to anyone about it, but when that victim has her own child - a daughter - it is unlikely she (the original victim) will allow that female child to be around the grandfather alone?

I do not believe Casey's accusations. It is sad. Because of all her lies and made up stories it is difficult for me to believe her.

My experience with accusations of molestation came by way of an accusation within my extended family.
At 18 the eldest daughter dropped out of school and moved out..she did not want to abide by the House Rules..The eldest daughter called the authorities and accused the step-father of molestation her and her younger sister. It was a terrible ordeal for all, I never saw a man so devastated, so destroyed in all my life, he loved and help raise them since early childhood and has been more of a father to them than their bio dad has been. In the end it turned out to be false, the girls admitted to lying to authorities.
Why..he was an easy target for their anger.

I hope and pray that Lee will stand up for his father. We all know where Cindy's devotion lies but maybe Lee will read yesterday's news and say enough is enough!! Does the new developments surprise me? Nope. I have always maintained that she will use ANYBODY to save her own skanky hide!

I don't think he did. He has been absent from the hearings for a reason. IMO it's Casey's abuse allegations!

Nope Lee is marching in lockstep with his mother. Lee's testimony at the hearing on the 15th pretty much made his intentions clear and where his loyalty is. It's not with Caylee and certainly not with his father.

He said I love you to the one accusing him of molestation, rape, incest.

All of this is a pathetic attempt to convince a jury that KC was the victim. To gain empathy for her plight of going through life with this dysfunctional family (alleged). She would be doing everyone, including herself, a very big favor if she would just confess and take her sentence accordingly. Jail time beats lethal injection.

JB in my estimation only has a problem keeping focused from one question to the next. I truly believe KC is taking her life in her hands at the mercy of JB's incompetency as an effective attorney. He may very well be a nice guy just trying to make his way in the world, but as a an attorney defending a client on a murder charge......?......uh, uh, he just doesn't bring it. IMO

Somehow I do not believe that KC was molested by anyone in that family. It just goes back to "it's someone else's fault I am the way I am". That's what these attorneys are trying to insert into this trial. Despicable maneuver IMO

I honestly do not know what I think on this topic. I have personal experience with sexual abuse and have a very finely honed "radar" for molesters and abusers. I am fiercely protective of my children particularly as it pertains to keeping them from being victimized. If ICA lived abuse as a child it gains her no points with me as she did not adeqautely protect her child from potentially living the same.

I have a dificult time knowing what I feel about ICA's allegation about her father. I feel it may be true and contribute to the serious dysfunction we've picked up on in this family.

That said, I don't think it buys her any sympathy from me because I believe that ICA is a sociopath, and while no-one should be abused/molested, I feel she manipulated her family through the use of this "family secret" and perhaps even turned the tables on GA and manipulated him as an adult using her sexuality. I also believe that would explain her not protecting her own daughter from such a thing, a sociopath thinks about "what will this get/do for me?" they are the star of the world and the rest are just caardboard/less valid cutouts.

I have no facts to sustantiate or verify any of the above. It is simply my own ugly suspicion.

I don't see how Caylee's death effecting the family is going to sway a jury from taking Casey's life. Hell, she never tried to commit suicide, she partied it up for a month.. Using the family's grief over Casey's lack of will do nothing more than send her to the table quicker. JMHO

I am absolutely not surprised. This is actually less appalling than most of Baez's schemes. I do, however, think this "investigation" into George will quietly disappear before anything comes of it. It's another example of the defense grasping at straws. IMO. Only making them look like bigger fools.

If that were the truth why do they need a P.I. to make behind the scene enquiries? Why not just ask GA all about it?
