I agree with this post and want to add, there was a doc dump coming. Like clockwork these people pull some stunt to take attention away from the crime at hand.

Judging from all the kerfuffle this week, I would say that we can expect a new doc dump very soon.

If the defense is actually going to try and say that George had something to do with Caylee's death then I would recommend that they review the evidence. They can not put the car, with the decomp in the trunk, in George's possession. After Casey left that night or next day she had the car with her the entire time until it was towed. I don't see how they can claim that some of the evidence could point to George when they have other evidence that clearly can not be linked to George.

ITA! But didn't KC text to Amy that her Dad, George, borrowed KC's car and then the smell arrived? Wasn't this story about George hitting a squirrel or two?

Why do you need a private detective from Minn. to get copies of the police report when a paralegal could get the records? Guess there just are no reliable PI in Orlando area. I agree with ya expect for what I bolded. There was no way the legal system would have removed Caylee from ICAs custody. None. CA knew it as did ICA. CA could have threatened all she wanted, but there was nothing she could actually do about it. Even if ICA had been arrested for fraud, ICA would still maintain sole legal custody. She was the biological parent and grandparents rarely have any legal standing in the courts. Yes, she could have hired an attorney, but it's extremely expensive, long involved investigations and the result would have been the same, ICA having sole custody. Being a sociopath is not a legal nor valid reason. Being lazy and unemployed isn't valid either. Matter of fact, the courts probably would have laughed at CA because she was supporting both ICA and ICA. The most the courts would have done, would be to order ICA to go to parenting classes. Not that this would have solved anything. The courts are extremely reluctant to interfere with parental rights, regardless of the parents lifestyle choices. Yep it sucks.

Being an unfit mother is reason to take custody away. Casey said to Lee that Cindy had called her that many times. I am sure Cindy could convince a court that KC was in fact unfit to care for her, if she revealed to them whatever made her say that so many times. Neglect, not providing for her, dumping her on Cindy most of the time, putting her kid in bed with other males, taking her to adult parties would make a good start.... obviously Cindy knows of more egregious things too..

Sorry for the o/t. Sometimes though we post things according to what we would do or what we would think. Like everyone knows GA didn't do that or do this. How does everyone "know"? I don't assume to 'know' what anyone did or didn't do, would or would not do.

Doesn't everyone have some example in their life of someone doing something that you'd think they wouldn't do? For all I know GA could do all kinds of weird stuff that, of course, he wouldn't admit/advertise. They say stranger danger doesn't look like a stranger - ya know? So everyone who 'knows' GA wouldn't have abused KC, I'd like to know what makes you all so sure? It kind of urks me to tell you the truth how so many people 'know' what GA would or would not do.

KC lied to him and CA for years. Yet he's behind her now? How rational is that? Yet everyone knows what a good guy GA is? I'm on a different page.

I will never believe that selfish Casey would sit in jail one night to protect George if George was the murderer. She was so desperate to tell her side of the story at the last hearing, she scribbled on her note pad, gestured with her hands and made faces. Her lawyers couldn't keep her still. The girl is not a shrinking violet. She was obviously furious because her mother and Lee weren't saying the right things and she made sure everybody at the hearing knew.

More importantly, I think the evidence points toward Casey and not anybody else.

George reported the theft of the gas cans. Which he would not have done if he was the murderer. If George was the murderer, Casey wouldn't have had to rob anybody, George would have been giving her money to hide out from Cindy. And no way would a neat-freak trust sloppy, lazy Casey to hide the body. Nor would an ex-LE have been o.k. with leaving the rotting body above ground where the neighbor's dogs could have gotten at body parts to drag home.

Then there is the video of Casey at Blockbusters--where Casey's ISN'T wild-eyed or dazed with shock over her Caylee's sudden demise.

Everything about the crime points toward the killer being someone that is sloppy, ditsy and selfish...NOT a OCD ex-homicide detective.

As to whether or not George molested Casey, I have no opinion. It is a fact that sociopaths disassociate from their bad acts. A sociopath can smile and charm an intended victims even as the sociopath plans to use the victim or steal from the victim or even take the victim's life. It is also fact that ICA is a liar. So far, nothing she has said has turned out to be true. There are plenty of examples times some of those lies were attention seeking ones, based on nothing but a very vivid imagination. For example, the house Casey had lined up for her and Amy to move into...all the money Casey had in the bank...Casey taking college classes...etc.

We've heard from Casey's own lips that Jesse can't be trusted. We've heard about the nanny and Samantha and Gloria and Victor. Next the defense trashed RK. I won't be surprised if the defense asks the jury to believe that George is a molester or worse.

IIRC, they were initially paying something like 11% interest on the mortgage and I think there have been two subsequent equity loans. Not Suze Orman types that's for sure. And goodness knows what CA spent her 401k paying off that KC allegedly ran up. Then there was the $65K disability settlement that GA supposedly gambled away instead of paying the house down. It sounds like they needed to install a drain in the middle of the floor to let all their money run into.

GA retched during questioning, recalling the smell of the car and linking it emotionally to Caylee's disappearance/death. Does not mean he had anything to do with it. In fact if he were brute enough to partake in the murder or assist in the disposal, he would be brute enough not to barf when led back through the events of those days.

And now his human reactions, his emotionally stunted attempts to elicit a response from KC (Why... Why... Why destroy Caylee) are going to be used to bury him under a dungheap of insinuation and accusation.

My mother reacted similarly. Once I got up the courage to tell (I was 9 it was the 16 year old son of her best friend) she did nothing. Did not talk to me about it, did not tell me it wasn't my fault, didn't hug me, ask me if I was alright, get me help if she felt too overwhelmed to take it on herself... nothing. She even had the nerve to ask me to go to the losers wedding when I was around 19-20 :furious:

My father didn't even know about it until I was around 15 begging him to let me live with him instead of her when they finally divorced. He raised hell.

I've been contemplating writing her a letter with every nasty word and image I remember and have had to deal with on my own, but it probably still wouldn't affect her. And that will be my reason when she asks me why she isn't more involved with mine and my future children's lives when the time comes. The time will come because she can't keep her mouth shut when it comes to her own feelings, she wants everyone to feel sorry for her crappy relationships she has with her 5 children when she has no one to blame but herself for failing us.

Ok, let's put it all out there side by side in a way.

George:
1. Ex LE that had worked homicide.
2. Graduated from high school.
3. Intelligent enough to know not to place a body that close to his home.
4. Didn't have access to the car during those 31 days.
5. Has shown real emotion over the death of Caylee.

Casey:
1. Ex employee of Universal where she took pictures of guests on rides.
2. Didn't graduate high school.
3. Doesn't appear to think ahead more than a minute or two so would not think about the "oopsies" of putting a body that close to her home.
4. Had access to the car and Caylee during those 31 days.
5. Has yet to show any emotion other than rage over the death of Caylee.
6. Has a record of telling lies.
7. Did not want to have a baby but was "forced" to not only deliver Caylee but "raise" her as well.
8. Admits that she is a "spiteful b!tch".

I'm thinking that the defense may want to rethink their "blame George and make it sound/look believable" strategy. I do see how George, Cindy and/or Lee could have had means and opportunity but I still fail to see how any of them had motive other than Casey.

BBM - I believe this is exactly where the defense is going with this! They are going to attempt to sell that Casey killed Caylee because of George his alleged sexual abuse. The abuse caused her to become a pathological sociopathic liar in order to survive, that was her coping mechanism. Look at what she grew up with.

I noticed Conway only addressed the "suicide attempt", it's interesting that everyone is ignoring the molestation. I also find it interesting that JB would not comment about whether or not Cindy and Lee were being investigated.
