Everybody must have gone to bed. I'm posting all by myself.![]()
No I'm here listening
I just don't know what to think or what's going on. I hate thinking it's just been put on hold because new information out there has changed everything this late in the game.
Where is Kyron? I just really really thought he would be home by now. Every day when you post those pics of him on "Today's Current News" it makes me want to cry.
So frustrating, isn't it? We were all hoping something conclusive would come from the GJ hearings. Instead, it looks like new information has come to light, and now LE is working the "third person" angle. Well, whatever it takes to get to the truth. We just have to be patient and keep the faith. I can't imagine what the waiting is like for the family. No I'm here listening

Excellent point, palladore. My theory as to why the District Attorney convened a GJ is a little different. I dont believe that the DA thought he had sufficient evidence to get an indictment at this point. I think that the DA wanted to get "on record" the testimony of the key witnesses that LE has unearthed so far. Memory is a mutable thing, and there is nothing like the gravitas of testifying before a Grand Jury to fix a memory in mind. Witnesses that have testified before a GJ are more likely to tell precisely the same story six or twelve months hence to a trial jury, I suspect, than witnesses who have spoken with LE, but not testified before a GJ. It is not unusual in complex cases for a Grand Jury to meet sporadically over a period of time to hear evidence as it accumulates.

Remember things were a bit quiet in the several days before the whole "second person in the truck" thing and the sudden pick up of search activity. I'm hoping this is just the silence before the storm...a really, really BIG storm....where Kyron is found and his perpetrator brought to justice.

Maybe they've come to the conclusion that there's just not enough evidence to arrest Terri?
IDK...
