Ha, that brought a good laugh at his expense. Nope. This Luke person used a netzero account. Same as GL. Nezero is used mainly by those who cannot get a high speed Internet service and is strictly a dial up service, cheap one at that.

I remember reading that too - about Luke getting fired from Northrop Grummand (sp?) or somewhere ~ he said 20 years down the drain or something. I was so blurry eyed and the comment was just kind of stuck in the emails I thought :waitasec: huh? But didn't stop to try to figure out what that had to do with the price of eggs in China.

I know a little about security clearances too.

IIRC it's definitely in the second half of the emails along with the comment of who GL thinks Luke is (or so she said).

Try Steph Whatts recent show on Blogtalk radio. Ms. Lucas divulges, thanks to Mr. Hornsby what group Luke is with , she refers to him as an intermediary, that defined means broker. Interesting she uses that word because when you listen to the program she mentions she needs compensation, many, many, many times ( among other ridiculous things, very ridiculous things, imo).

She mentions that she believes the murderer is a male.
In a different spot she says it was "Negligence , purely" ... in response to what was the motive question.
She says she followed in her mind the child to the woods, although she had said earlier, the child 's body had been moved several times. Notice the words "from the house".
She said John Allen asked her why she did not call the police, and she answered because it is not that hard, you guys have it, who they had was clearly not a male.
She said that this was Dominic's first case, only case. He cried and did find the body, but couldn't continue.
She admitted that she works off of her dreams.
Dom told LE that she called him the morning of the search.
She says here that she told him the day before to not take Hoover the guy with black hair.

The first contact we know of went from Luke to DC on August 5, 2008, asking DC to send him a picture of Rosita M.

Luke is identified with 'Anam Caillte Sensory Search and Recovery' in White Post, Virginia.

DC wants to know why Luke wants a picture of RM and emails him and asks 'explain why you want a picture of Rosita M. again?'

It appears a phone call took place between them.

Later DC emails Luke (8/5/08 at 9:41 PM) and says, "Thank you for the contact information."

It appears to me that someone in the A camp or JB camp had Luke contact DC and they began working together.
DC is happy to have a compadre and cooperates but Luke is driving the Psychic train. DC does question things at times.

Yes, there is reference in one of DC's emails that Luke had been in contact with Cindy. DC seemed to have been unaware at the time.

Didn't she say in her emails that she woke up at 3am after sleeping with the bear and knew where to find Caylee. Then how could she have told DC not to take Hoover the day before?????

Just by his writings alone, I feel very safe in assuring you that if Luke worked in any capacity for the defense ( as in national or state ) department, I am the Pope. Either that or contractor could mean anything , companies are contracted by the government to make uniforms for example, they are hardly folks with security level clearances.
Go with your gut , immediate instinct if something sounds ridiculous.
A federal agent would not have engaged in all of those e mails with Dominic, if they would....be afraid, be very afraid. Has anyone googled his name that was on the e mails?

JB, IIRC, had top secret clearance in the Navy.

I'm going to go out on a limb here.
I have to admit that DC was one of the characters I didn't spend alot of time trying to understand earlier in the case. It became too much that with Kidfinders, Hoover, DC, that Michelle person, Kronk and revolving Lawyers - I just couldn't keep track of them all.

Now having read all of DC's emails along with those of Luke and this Ginette person, my impression from DC is that he wanted to believe in an alive Caylee and was working for the Defense and the family so his slant would be to support their angle. Yet I read his emails to Luke where several times he questioned the hopes of finding an alive Caylee. I'm not sensing that he was an all knowing participant from the getgo. Could he have been played by the A camp too? In his emails he comes across as someone who is trying to find an alternative explanation other than that Caylee is dead. Prior to December 11, 2008, a lot of us were doing that even though in the back of our minds (31 days and car issue) we knew it was not probable.

I'm not 'sensing' a con man - more like a frustrated man who feels he's not being taken seriously by either side of the coin - LE or the defense team.

Can someone tell me why they feel he is a 'bad guy' versus one who just got caught up in a terrible mess?

That said, I wonder more about how Luke and Ginette fit into all of the behind the scenes stuff.

It's my opinion that DC knew where the body was through inside information. He claims that he was on the phone with Ginette and she was guiding him to the body. He may have been on the phone with Ginette but I'll climb Mount Everest if he was being guided to the body by her. BTW, Ginette said on Steph's radio show that DC found the body but was too upset to go on.

He was using a Bat Phone so we'll probably never know how he really knew where the body was/should be. Unless he decided to squeal. I believe that it came from KC directly or through somebody else. My theory is that the infamous, "alleged", secret correspondences smuggled by JB have something to do with this. JMO

I also think it's possible that the pavers he found were used to cover the body but due to all of the water the bag broke free and that's why he was close but not close enough.

To recap (as I think this was discussed earlier in the thread) - the first email we see is dated June 21, 2008 at 9:48PM and is sent from Ginny to Luke.

June 28, 2008 - Ginny tells Luke that her sister was in the psyce ward (at one time).

Up until now you can tell that Luke and Ginny are getting to know each other because Ginny is explaining who's who in her life. It doesn't seem they know each other well during these first few emails.

On July 12, 2008 - Ginny asks "Where's Cindy?" in the subject of her email. Then she asks, "who is cindy? and what state are we starting from?"

Therefore, I conclude that Luke brought the case to Ginny and not the other way around.

July 20, 2008 - is the first time Caylee's name is mentioned in an email.

I'll look for the first DC email.
Then I'll try to find where Ginny tells someone who she thinks Luke is.

The first few emails aren't about the KC case at all. When I read the question about Cindy I wasn't sure if it's an unrelated case or not. I'm leaning toward an unrelated case because CA was so upset on her 911 call it seems she just found out about it, especially when considering the excited utterance.

It is possible CA contacted "Luke" to help her find KC to begin with.

I have wondered though why the stuff about unrelated cases was included in the doc dump. :waitasec:

I Googled Jamil Spencer and the only stuff that comes up is about somebody who obviously isn't this Jamil Spencer or somebody asking who he is too.

Ginny writes "I met a guy by the name of Luke Phillips - please send me your number and I am going to set you up with his cell - he has access to the best global photos that can depict where a vehicle is under brush or trees, water, etc. He works for the feds (Dept. of Defense) so he has special access."

Well this would explain why he was forced to resign if he really was working for NG. Also I doubt anybody working for DOD would be sharing this info with people like Ginette. Why? What for? Why would someone with a good job with a company such as NG or the DOD for that matter say they would use equipment of this type to help people who claim they are psychic? BS.

Probably more likely that he sent an email or a call to her tip line.
Do we know when he forwarded tips to LE? IIRC it was pretty early on...around the 20th of July(?). He interjected himself into the case from the getgo if you ask me. So many people did...he just seems to have been more persistent.
