I actually feel it is a good thing that the new attorney Sims hasn't watched TV in all these years as she is not full of all the "poop" being spewed all over the TV stations etc. regarding the case.

The state has been wonderful about getting you what you need-But the FBI, who cannot be compelled to deal with your nonsense, is going to help you gain a real understanding of working with discovery at the last moment (and the state will be equally effected)....The maggot evidence cannot possibly help KC, and there's not a thing JB or the state can do about it right now.

deadlines of deposition schedules have been extended. only 27 out of 35 showed up.

Blaming the state for not telling the defense earlier.

New deadlines for LEO officers are at the end of October.
Judge wants them to all work together. (no actual order issued)

Average murder case goes to trial after 2 years, the average death penalty case takes 3 or 4 years (according to baez)

Baez-we're moving along at a good pace..and we are not going to cut corners.
If it takes longer it takes longer. He "thinks" they will be in time.

blaming discovery at the last minute..and they do not want to take a deposition that they aren't prepared for.

they asked in august 2008 for certain records, and they are just getting them now.

Now blaming LE for dragging their heels.
they are going to tenn. Baez excited...he's never been there. Lawyer sims has.

Baez orders transcripts and draws from it what they want to use. (takes weeks or a month or so) Going to TRY and get it in before the deadline.

They have experts that are beyond the present age of technology, another expert that likes to help find evidence that wasn't umm previously there, and an attorney who is an expert on experts that has trouble with the complexity of her own TV. That's classic.....

I think he said he's practicing his drawl...maybe a time spent practicing his manners would be more practical.
Everytime I look at Dorothy I picture her on a barstool........don't know why, it's just her demeanor.
