If he has that defense person who is questioning him saying that LB is on the defense team, the defense is in deep trouble. Because they have been claiming that LB was working for TES and, in reality she is working for KC. Doesn't she also claim to be a friend of Cindy's?

I can't believe that JJ taping his own interview with defense is illegal. I can see it being illegal if he was taping an interview between two separate people. But why is it illegal for him to tape his OWN interview.

I can't help you with finding an interview, but I can back up what you're saying, if I remember right, he had sent an email to Yuri, or one of the other lead LEOs, saying he'd searched there and found nothing and then once he checked a map, he realized he was incorrect and I believe he apologized and admitted he was wrong.


Can I just say that this entire Laura Buchanen / falsifying documents situation is so richly bizzare, and why isn't it being covered more on the news, rather than Jane Valez Mitchell yelling about brand spanking new photos that were released two years ago already? Why does it seem to me that this particular little nugget seems to go unnoticed by anybody but us? Where's the outrage and outcry? Why isn't a news camera scoping out this Laura Buchanen and bombarding her with questions? Why isn't Cindy ever asked about her relationship with this woman who alleges to be good friends with the Anthonys? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT DO THIS KIND OF THING!? :banghead:

JVM won't cover this, nor will Geraldo. They are both smitten with Baez and his charm (that totally illudes me - I think he's creepy and he strikes me as a liar every time he opens his mouth. He thinks he's the Lindsey Lohan of the law profession.

Thanks for confirming my sometimes faulty memory. I think he's probably an honorable man as well ... but it should be a lesson to all ... think before you speak to the media!!! I wouldn't want to be him on the stand having to explain the inconsistencies in his stories. :banghead:

It hasn't been confimed that there are falsified docs out there as far as I know. But JJ told LE he was suspicious if an attempt to falsify docs was being made. LE has checked into it.

TM told LE that in a search this size it would be possible for forms to go away with people, for copies to be made and for people to get their hands on forms. LE has gathered the forms of LB, JJ and DI and are looking into it. That's what I conclude from this doc dump. I haven't read LE's conclusion.

If there WERE any falsified documents by the defense and it can be proven, there will be charges againss t the defense by the prosecution. AND the defense team will wind up being disbarred. Until those charges are levied, the defense will not have access to them until there are charges.

The HMS Anthony/Baez may very well be going down. It's a case of hubris by the defense.

It's illegal due to not informing the parties that it was being recorded. Which is why the prosecutors couldn't even listen to it without committing a felony themselves...JMHO

I did find a few of his other posts when he began using another name to post with.
Did we ever find out who "these off duty police or LE" were that he claimed to be doing his independent searches with".
Also, there is a Laura Buchanan in Kentucky that does rehab for wild animals. Her name is here 3/4 of the way down on this page after Nicholas (county).

I think it would only be important if it's found AFTER the fact. If it's shown during the trial, I think the defense team might well be disbarred. That's interferring in an investigation (like Cindy has all along). The problem is that the defense is supposed to have ethics, It shouldn't get her acquitted because the prosecution hasn't done anything wrong.

I know where I live it's ok to tape a conversation if one of the parties is involved in the taping. All Jordan did was protect himself from possible misrepresentation - like what Baez did to Conway.

Yes, thanks I found it.
As for Laura Buchanan, the only differences I see are the phone numbers. Carlisle KY is in Nicholas County.
Earlier someone said she was from NJ, I just ran across the LB in KY and with the same named husband (Brian).

I have a vague memory of LDB mentioning something about a document LB gave to Baez's investigator that was not part of their (the SA's) documentation. Some kind of a TES document - I didn't pay too much attention to that at the time, anyone else remember that?

Some of the questions peeps are wondering about can be answered (not fully) when listening to the audio tape of LE's visit to TM that was released yesterday.

LE took copies of the forms from TM's office that were signed by LB as a team leader as well as search forms and volunteer forms of JJ, DI and JH.
LE told TM that they were happy that they were able to get the forms they were missing. LE ended up getting the forms that had been turned back in to TES having to do with LB's searches. What I haven't seen yet is LE's conclusion - how it all matches up and if they did indeed discover falsified forms circulating. JJ's point is that he thinks his name had been added to a form on a date he didn't even search. JJ felt the PI may have been trying to get him to say something that wasn't true and he told that to LE.

I'm not recalling the date LE visited TM but it's stated in the interview.

Also I listed the eleven forms LE took from TM on the interview with TM thread.
The interviews are not independent of one another so until you hear both of them, JJ's and TM's, you don't get the complete picture.

I want to read the LB interview - is there one? Going to look.

Ok...can someone tell me if I got this straight...JJ says now that there was water and he could not search...the defense team took words he said and twisted them to fit their sorry a$$ case (and leaked to the press)...JJ got whiff of something being amiss...taped a phone conversation with someone from the defense...the State wouldn't listen because it was recorded without consent. I think it began coming to light with LE talking to JJ.
Unless LDB alerted LE regarding the State's conflict ???
We'd need to track down the dates (plus did LDB say it was LB they were deposing? Do we know for sure the two are connected?)
LB shouldn't have any forms that can't be backed up by TM's files.
Luckily, LE already visited TM and gathered files associated with LB.
