2010.11.05 Media-Inside the Baker Home

  • #341
The home yes is not fit for living at this point. I watch alot of crime shows and I am sure that parts of the home are removed, however it seems a litte uncommon. The lunimal testing (sp) normally photo's are sufficient? It seems to me that somthing horrible happened and the blood and splatter was so much that it sank into the drywall. It look as the home wasnt in the best condition.. even without removal or walls, flooring it looked at if the home was in need of repair.. possible intentional to try and rid of evidence... however drywall in my home even painted walls.. with flat paint it just soaks in any fluid. I know this because I have had to repair many times with kids and spills with juice etc. The removal of pipes, I suspect they dismembered her body... in sink and tub.. a place to drain the blood and internal organs. I would also like to know if the kitchen sink had a garbage disposal on it. THAT would be a horrible thing he did after the fact, perhaps that is what EB was getting to or somthing similar.

I get a feeling a stong feeling that the home was a true house of horror. The removal of the celing.. I wonder if there was another attic that she was kept in.

off subject a little but I look for clues in what AB has said.
One being she is going through puberty.. perhaps the brooding stage was ZB beginning to becoming argumenative and telling her AB and EB she was to tell on the abuse?? She was kept confined for weeks.

It is not really that uncommon for a girl of 10 to start menstrual.. perhaps molestation and pregnancy by AB ( far fetched but i get the feeling of sexual abuse.. physical abuse goes hand in hand with sexual abuse)

2nd point in call she doesnt come out of room.. probally correct, however it is by his choice not ZB. I would be very interested if there is a key lock on the outside of door that allows access only from outside the room.

These have got to be the most stupid persons in the world. The blood and the way I suspect she was dismembered... why not clean as much as possible. Paint and clean. Move away as they did so many times.. no one would suspect anything then due to the fact the neighbors didnt even know there was a child there. He did not have her registered in home school, via computer classes home school these days computer work is normally done online.. if not then where was the work she turned in.... very odd that they kept her so secret.

I know this got a little off topic. I am sorry if so. I am new and I have read the quidelines but I get alittle confused as what I can post on each topic.

I hope that the ones who overlooked the abuse.. cps and county would tear the home down.. compensate the owner and make a memorial to Zhara or leave the lot vacant.. the home of horrors is now a evil place that needs to be demolished.

It has to be a very small room. And Homey IIRC the nights you were there - LE wasn't paying one bit of attention to that room. It was Zahra's room in the back and the front bedroom all the way to the right.

As for the pink painting. I don't think they painted that room pink. I agree with gidget about painting the closet. I believe that room was already pink when they moved in. The big sections of wall that were removed were probably cleaned and since it was already pink - our rocket scientists didn't think you could see anything - KWIM?

BTW those Mr. Clean erasers are amazing and will clean just about anything off of just about anything.

The reason I think they did paint the bedroom pink, is because (if you look at Homey's pics of drop cloth) the paint on it definitely looks like the same pink paint. Now, WHEN they painted this bedroom...that I couldn't say.

If you look at the recent pics of the bakers rack, though, I only see 2 cans of paint, 1 black and 1 white(?).

ETA: Now that I'm looking at that rack, what was the spray paint for I wonder? Car, perhaps?

Is AB coming back for anything else? He's been evicted, I can't imagine they'd allow him back in again. Is that all of the items he's taking?

I'll pay postage/duty/customs etc for LE or the landlord to mail the rest of Zahra's belongings to her mother. I'd hate to see anything of Zahra's thrown away. All of Zahra's items are priceless and I'll gladly pay to ship them.

Why would you leave anything in that house that someone could sell on eBay or to the murder memorabilia guy? Why not haul it to the dump yourself or take it with you? There were four adults and a full size pickup truck. There's no excuse to leave anything personal especially of Zahra's. I'll keep my comments about them not cleaning the house for the landlord to myself.

The sympathy train I'm riding is just about ready to stop.

Welcome sherryK!!!

They would take the sections of wall, ceiling and floor to be able to test the blood for identification. Photos would only show pictures of it - need to know whose it is.

I'm having a HARD time getting on the right board to post in this new forum!!! LOL Think I made it to the correct one now...

http://www.wsoctv.com/video/25650017/index.html

This report says the sink was taken at the same time the mattress was two weeks ago. Was this known before now? This is the first I've heard of it. Says it at about 1:35.

Actually, said they took PLUMBING from under sink.

I'm not sure if it's state law or anything, but landlords where I am in NC typically give 15 or 28 or 30 days to clear out after an eviction. I think there is a minimum amount of time you are required to give them, and you have to keep their things. After that, you can sell them and charge the evictees for cleanup.

Respectfully snipped and BBM: Does this look like the dog she was carrying? I found this pic snooping through AB's Facebook...

Who's puppy is it?

FWIW - and I know not everyone thinks this - I do kind of feel that this entire house was decorated to suit EB's tastes. To me - the black kitchen cabinets, the black living room w/ painted fireplace, the black painted tiles in the bathroom - to me that presents the picture of someone SO obsessed with being "goth" that it was entirely necessary to transform this quaint little brick home into something darker. The crappy, sloppy, unfinished paint job IMO is more indicative of the other issues at play: laziness, lack of financial resources, and of course, an extreme obsession with an alternate "universe" that would supercede all reality. The paint was just setting the stage for EB's dark lair - not a careful decorating job where details are important.

FWIW - I'm not discounting repainting/cover up following a crime, I just think the original intention was to slap some black paint on everything to make sure Ms. GothicFairy's home was another way to showcase her extreme gothicness. IMO.

As far as little Zahra's room - I'm not sure. Maybe Zahra did it herself? I don't entire disbeleive that EB wouldn't take the time to do it either. I think image is so important to her - in a misguided way - that Zahra's room would be important to. Or painting her's pink would be EB's symbolic attempt to showcase how much Zahra didn't fit into their evil dark world?

Respectfully, I have to disagree. I think the paint jobs were a 'slap happy' effort to cover up the crime.
Did she send AB out for dark coloured paint?? Probably.

I think that they were SO busy being afraid of killing little Z, that they ignored details...like making the bathroom paint go as far as the bathtub!

Z could not do her room herself, unless someone bought her paint, brushes and rollers. Even then, she would have been ill equipped to know how to do 'edges'.
I would bet my life that that room was decorated by the previous owners.

I am actually a bit surprised at how well tended this home appears! (Of course I could be wrong, since so much is missing!)

I *think* it is one of AB's family members.... cant discuss him here since he isnt in the media.... or it could not be the same dog I dont know but when I seen this photo I thought it looked like the dog grandma was carrying out of the house. JMO

If you check my post a little ways up (#327 I think) you will see what looks like a can of red paint. IMO

Here is a crazy thought...Do you think they tried to sand the blood spots off the wall and then thought well we cant leave it like that and just kinda went around the room sanding to make it fit. If your going to paint the closet pink too why not keep it with the theme of the room? The closet was solid pink. I dunno but I think they painted to cover up I just dont know which room to be exact. You would think they would have already thrown out the plastic with paint on it if it was done earlier. I honestly think the paint was fresh. Perhaps the neighbor that went and fed the dogs reported to the police fresh paint smell.

I would pick up the tab myself, if I could get ALL Zahra's clothes and toys to Emily!!!!

I'm thinking what they did with the plumbing is kinda like what is considered a "clean sweep" .. Remember the guy lifting what appeared to be fiber or something.. and the guy with the springy thing...?? I think they were clearing the drainage pipes. The guy out in the yard was at the end of the pipe and was lifting up the material and bagging it. He was putting it into evidence.

I don't think drain pipes from the house would just drain into the backyard. The guys around him had shovels and were digging.

IIRC the house was on city sewer - those have a "main" clean-out/connection usually somewhere near the street property line where it ties into the bigger pipe in the street and then there is a smaller clean-out/connection usually where they disconnect the septic tank and reconnect it to the new street line. And neither of those would be out in the middle of the backyard.

lol - I know a whole lot about this because my house was just converted last year and I watched them do it.

I don't understand why nothing of Zahra's was taken either... makes me sick, not even by the grandmother...
I still have my son's dirty clothes from when he last visited from Afghan, and they will stay that way until he returns... sounds crazy, but every now and then I hold them and smell them... :( I just don't get this whole family...:furious:

I would have liked to see what Zahra's room looked like that afternoon when LE arrived from the "Hey, how you doin'" phone call. Its kinda hard to tell anything with the room being bare.

  • #358
I think LE has thought of every scenario and done everything they can possibly do to bring these two scumbags to justice. At this point.... I would love to be arrested and placed in their cell... I don't know what else to do!!!

I understand.... but I think they cut the pipes before they entered the city sewer and then cleared them into a filter and bagged the evidence... maybe a clog..

Okay, the pic of the bakers rack on the back porch. I do see what looks like a can of red paint. Oddly, I didn't see it on the rack after it was put back into the kitchen. Maybe LE took it? Who knows? So what the heck was painted red do you think? This 3rd bedroom that's "off limits"?

I did notice that the closet was solid pink, whereas the walls were mottled effect. I thought that odd, but figured if I was going to faux paint a room, I might not bother with the closet either. Okay...I would, but I can see where these 2 might not bother.

I definitely think the bathroom, and at least parts of the kitchen were recently painted. Looking at the paint job on the fireplace, that looks pretty tidy. Also wouldn't require much paint. So was there black paint left over just sitting around the house, and this was used in a rush job?

Just some thoughts.
