Zahra Baker's home stands abandoned in North Carolina
THE house where Australian 10-year-old Zahra Claire Baker lived with her father and American stepmother looks more like a haunted wreck than a family home.
A month after she vanished, the 10-year-old's clothes remain hanging in the wardrobe.

One Month Later: No Sign of Zahra Baker
Tuesday marks one month since Zahra Baker, 10, was reported missing by her father through a 911 call.
Zahra's father, Adam Baker, reported her missing October 9. Authorities said they believe the girl is dead, but no one has been charged in her disappearance.
Zahra's stepmother, Elisa Baker, has been jailed on an obstruction of justice charge since the weekend Zahra disappeared. Police said she admitted writing a fake ransom note found at the scene of a fire in the family's backyard the same day Zahra was reported missing.

A month into Zahra case, police await DNA info, review evidence and keep searching
The Zahra Baker homicide case is inching along as it reaches the month-mark, with authorities taking a time-out early this week from their active search.
Instead, Monday they focused on paperwork which must be done, reviewing and re-evaluating their evidence. Police are also interviewing tipsters. And, already on Tuesday, they were quickly back out at a search location in Caldwell County -- although they weren't saying exactly where.

Search continues one month after Zahra reported missing
The search for evidence in the disappearance of 10-year-old Zahra Baker continued on Tuesday, which marks one month since the girl was reported missing.
Timeline In Zahra's Disappearance
Investigators searched a wooded area in the Patterson community along Indian Grove Road in Caldwell County on Tuesday. More than 30 people were involved in the search, which focused on a one-mile area. Police wouldnt elaborate on what led them to Indian Grove Road, which is about 10 miles north of where Zahras prosthetic leg was found and about 20 miles north of the Bakers Hickory home.
