Why would Baez sabotage this trial? It will already be an automatic appeal due to the fact that it is a death penalty case. Is Baez that really incompetent? He must be, as I see no reason for him to purposefully act like an idiot.

In most intances where an attorney is consulting as an expert on something IME, that person tells you what the fee will be. usually that goes something like this. Attorney contacts expert. Expresses interest in hiring expert. Expert replies with interest or no. If with interest, attorney sends expert documents for review, etc. Expert charges a fee for the time spent reviewing and a fee for a formal report of their opinions on those items reviewed. Attorney agrees or does not. Expert prepares report after receiving fee for same. If report aligns with attorney's case, attorney deposes. Expert charges more fees, usally time, travel, if needed meals etc. Experts opinion is memorialized in both report and deopsition. Deposition gives oppsoing counsel an opportunity to figure out experts opinion and attempt to knock it down.

To me, it sounds as if JB has lots of potential experts, but I have seen nothing in this hearing which leads me to believe that he has these "potentials" onboard.

I think that JB thinks that everyone operates like he does. He has no idea how crooked he appears, because, he thinks everyone is shifty like he is.

You know what? You are right. I just had an epiphany. He does. Onlyyyyyy... he's 2 steps back. Sooo, people smell shifty on him. He musta bought a bottle at Macy's when it was on sale and sprayed it everywhere. Now, everyone can smell it, watches him, knows it, bam. SAO had his number today. JB was like Wile E. Coyote.

And even better! According to the article, WFTV bought the stuff last week, or shortly before and have the results back already AND a quote from the good doctor. There, Jose! put THAT in your pocket square!

I don't have any idea why John Allen was there, but he wouldn't tell KB the reason when she asked him privately.

I saw a dark colored uniformed person (deputy?) bend over to Cindy and then she got up and went out .... then Cindy and Michelle M. came back in together from the double doors and Cindy sat down and Michelle sat down. I guess Michelle wanted to tell Cindy something, or give her something outside of the cameras in the courtroom?

BBM I saw that too when I was rewatching it. It has to be exhausting. And whoever said they were worried about LDB (was it JSR maybe?)...I can see why. She did look very tense. Hopefully it's just that she is very over JB. She did kind of look like a mother of a strong willed child round about 7:30 pm. And that is what she is dealing with in JB IMO.

I sure hope JB hasn't trumped up or had someone file a retaliation bar complaint on her. I sure can't see any reason for a legitimate one. In my book she is TOP OF THE CLASS -- future judge material!
I noticed it too when they entered courtroom especially. I see that the raw footage of today starts with JP talking - so I will look at my InSessions footage - as they showed the waiting for court to start footage and see if that shot is there. Also the footage of someone coming to get CA. If it is, I will put a call out to someone to upload my video to youtube if you all want.

PS this will be tomorrow as I am exhausted from laughing at JB getting schooled today.

I am still confused as to why Spitz's medical issue, er, chicken bone, is so top secret in JB's mind? Who cares? Is he facing ridicule for having a medical situation now that its out? Does his medical condition mean he is rendered incapable or less qualified? Why all the secrecy on JB's part about this? Who cares?

I saw an arm reach in and tap her and motion her to follow. But could not tell at the time if the arm was male or female.

The Judge asked if it was about odors? And Baez said no - about decomp. Baez said something about the sniffer stuff the State trying to get in is not an established science. The Defense has said that he will testify about time for decomposition, environmental impacts on decomposition, and various stages of decomposition. They said he is primarily a consultant and not likely to testify unless as a rebuttal witness to State Experts.

Sniffer stuff. Oh yeah, and vacuums aren't a forensic science. *headdesk* How you can be the LEAD on a capital case and not know the proper terms for the forensic science you don't want in at trial? HOW?

This is another thing, that I had almost forgot about, that floors me from today. Unbelievable.
