The KATU site has a large enough photo of the flyer.

"Kyron Horman is still missing ... Ask Terri Moulton-Horman where he is!"

First off, I DO understand, as much as I can without being in her shoes, what Desiree must be feeling...it's got to be the worst feeling possible for a parent.

However... I think it is one thing if she says that SHE is going to do this (confront Terri), but it's another thing when she is asking / encouraging OTHER people to do it. This sounds like harrassment - bordering on stalking - to me, and depending on the outcome of such a confrontation if it did occur, someone could well end up in really serious trouble. There are a lot of real psychos out there, and some of them might not need much encouragment to do something really drastic.

I want Kyron found as much as anyone else out here, and I want the person(s) responsible for his disappearance held accountable... but I don't want to see someone else to go to prison for doing what is, in effect, taking the law into their own hands... regardless of how well intentioned they are.

Young took her quest for answers to Roseburg, where Terri lives. Dozens of friends and family helped distribute flyers with Kyron's picture around town. The hope is to start a campaign to get Terri's neighbors to ask her one question: where is Kyron?

"It's not a witch hunt. She has control of her fate. If she wants to clear herself, she is more than welcomed to" said the grieving mother.

Young plans to host future gatherings in Roseburg.

I wonder how she can clear herself in Desiree's eyes, even if she were to try. I don't think she could. Even if she passed a LD test, I don't think Desiree would believe her now.
As far as Kaine goes, I would not be surprised if Desiree is past dealing with him at all and even at a stage where she blames him, in a way, I know I sure would, rightly or not.

"It's not right that Terri gets to have a free life while my son is missing," Young said. "There's only one person that knows where Kyron is and when you see her, you need to ask where he is."

“We are putting the pressure on Terri,” Young told KGW. “We are bringing it to her. She needs to know we will not rest until Kyron is brought home.”

Yes, LE said that while leading massive searches through the sticks and leaves in the woods, and while slogging through swamps on Sauvie Island, clearly not looking for a living child.

For a long time, I think LE made statements about Kyron being alive in order to be kind to the parents, who probably couldn't face looking for a body.

Sounds like everyone is on the same page now.

I think you are right in that now both DY and LE are on the same page regarding their thoughts.

What LE thinks has no bearing on the fact that they have no evidence to back up that belief. LE may not have been looking for an alive kyron while searching, and their factual statements will remain "we have no evidence that kyron is not alive".

I have a lot of suspicions about TH. I think there is a good chance she is guilty.

HOWEVER, unlike Josh Powell, for example, I do not see any REAL SOLID evidence that she was the one who is responsible for Kyron's disappearance. Maybe because I have not seen the e-mails that Desiree has spoken of. Anyway, what is it that has convinced Desiree and her LE husband that Terri is guilty?

We can only surmise what DY is thinking as no evidence has been released regarding anyone taking kyron.

Kyron Horman disappeared from Portland's Skyline School on June 4, 2010. Terri Horman, his step-mother, is the last person known to have seen Kyron alive. During the initial phases of the investigation, Desiree - Kyron's biological mother - was sometimes seen with Terri, as the two women appeared to console each other.

But as law officers followed clues, interviewed witnesses, studied cell phone records and looked into family backgrounds, suspicion increasingly fell on Terri. Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, filed for divorce from her. Terri left their Skyline-area home and moved into her parents' Roseburg home.

Meanwhile, Desiree became increasingly skeptical of Terri's denial of guilt, as her public accusations about Terri's activities became more pointed and accusing. This weekend, practically in Terri's back yard, she made it clear that she was there to put pressure on her to provide the information necessary to bring closure. In her most direct accusation to date, she declared, "We know that Terri is responsible, yet she remains silent."

Young went to Terri Horman’s house and knocked on the door before putting signs up around her home. Nobody answered, and a sign is still up referring people to call Horman’s lawyer.

“If I ever confronted her; if she would ever give me that chance, I would talk to her. And I would talk to her about the fact that Kyron never asked a thing of her except for her to love him,” Young said.

She said she wants Kyron to know she’ll never stop looking for him.

“I have to do this. I have to do it each and every day because if I don’t, who is going to?”

Man, I wonder if I could do this without screaming and causing a scene? Desiree's grace under pressure amazes me.

I bet Terri had to change her panties after seeing Desiree on her front porch. Good. I hope that shakes her up for a long time. I hope she hides away in her little bedroom day in and day out worrying that Desiree will once again be knocking on her door looking to her for an explanation. What a courageous woman Desiree is.

ETA: I just remembered that Terri wears thongs. I bet after today she will switch to granny panties, just in case Desiree comes back.

The Youngs and their family members are in Roseburg, where Terri is staying with her parents. Hours away from Kyron's neighborhood (except when he was visiting Terri's parents).

Of course you are right. I misread the headline and thought they were going to Terri's old Portland neighborhood. I'll do better next time. Thanks. :seeya:

Gosh I hope I am posting right, I have been on this site for about a year now, always reading cold cases and so forth, nothing has grabbed my heart like Kyron's case though, I check everyday, praying for some news. I have been touched by this case mainly because I have a little boy 6 years old, that actually looks like kyron, with the big toothy grin. I'm not sure how to quote someone yet, but I saw a remark about wanting Kyron found as much as anyone else here. I want Kyron found too, so much so that I think about this sweet angel everyday. But NO ONE, absolute NO ONE wants him found more than his mom. I would rip the earth apart if my son went missing, it wouldn't matter what "was right or wrong." And if I had a very strong feeling that a certain person was responsible, I would hound that person until my last breath, because my love for my son would drive me until I could go forward no more. So bravo for Desiree, may her strength and anger bring closure.

Great thing about T-shirts,posters and yard signs, is you don't have to say a word to get your point across!! I love it! GO DESIREE! WOOOHOOO

I'd proudly put a sign or two in my Portland yard. Not that it would do any good here. But I would do it just to show my support. I would pay the cost for the signs as well. Anyone know where I can get one or two?
