If they don't want to effectively work with the other search groups to find Hailey, then IMO, they have made a poor decision. I can't fathom why they wouldn't work with the other search groups. It's not about Billie, it's about Hailey.

And, did I miss something about that Billie is deciding where people search?

I agree it is really messed up. And I do not agree with their decision. However I can kind of understand how it all fell apart.

I did not say she 'decides' where people search. All I am saying is that she is working very closely with the other groups. She will be attending a training session with them in Dallas, and be one of their featured speakers. Meanwhile they are in charge of Hailey's search. I see it as kind of a conflict of interest, because unlike most moms of missing kids, Billie seems intent upon misdirecting and deflecting.

I know in the few searches I took part in, the parents were key in helping decide where to put the boots on the ground. LE assumed the family knew where the missing might go, where they hung out previously etc.

It may be that if they join a formal organization (as members) they are prohibited from searching on their own when that organization is not there. Are the other organizations accepting volunteers to search that are not members? Idk, just asking.

One reason I could see them not searching with other groups is the fact that they have been out there doing it for a while. They know where they have searched etc. It may just get confusing to start mingling with other groups when you have your own thing going on. I don't see it as a big deal at all. If I had a group and we have worked on certain areas I wouldn't want to cause confusion and chaos by going every which way either. I kind of see their point. It may just be better to have different groups searching and overlapping. JMO.

Respectfully, BBM. I have to wonder why they do not want to work/partner with the other national, well-known organizations that are involved in the search for Hailey.

I didn't take it that way, not that they don't want to work with other organizations, just that they were going to continue searching. I'm sure if other organizations want to work with them, they will.

Perhaps Hailey's Angels want to remain independent. They got together in the beginning to find Hailey and didn't do it through all sorts of red tape. They are an independent group with a name and a purpose. That's what I understand.

What is worse than focusing on defending yourself when your own child is missing?


I can understand Hailey's Angels not wanting to be involved with other search organizations. They probably do not understand what they have seen as far as their support of Billie... and lack of support of Clint. That's all I have seen, I have not seen anything which shows me that has changed.

If Billie is able to convince all these very smart and experienced national organizations that she needs donations and support... regardless of her actions... who is to say she cannot influence where they search?

I can understand it if that's why they are concerned, I would be. Maybe Hailey's Angels feel like the other organizations have a different idea of what happened to Hailey, so they don't feel they should work together.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Billie turns on all the search groups. She is really following an Anthony playbook.

Yes, there are two sides of that coin. One of the hardest things for me to do sometimes is NOT just jump in my truck and go... I can never replace the training I have received by being a member of an organization though. Many pro's and con's on both sides of that fence, imo. Just my own opinion.

It was an APPRECIATION DINNER FOR THE VOLUNTEERS. That was exactly what it was supposed to be about, not Billie, and not even just Hailey. These women spent 8 weeks . every day, searching for Hailey, and that dinner was supposed to be about them.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind Billie of two basic facts:

Shawn Adkins was named a Person of Interest in Hailey's disappearance by law enforcement on January 12, 2011.

I seriously doubt that ANYONE is "hoping" that SA did anything "horrible" to Hailey.

IMO, Billie is growing increasingly nervous that law enforcement is going to prove it, and she's worried that Hailey's Angels just might stumble upon a piece of evidence (or two) that LE needs in order to prove it.

I will not criticize Hailey's Angels for a few hours of being less than classy. Billie has had 55 days of it. They are entitled to a few hours.

She has no idea how lucky she is that all these people care enough about her daughter to actually go looking for her. Maybe that's it? Maybe she's jealous that Hailey, even missing, is getting more attention than her? What an immature brat of a mother.

what BD says always haunts me..........and the video made her so upset.....why?
