Yes she has a husband. However what they are trying to do now is tie the material from the computer at the home to the flash at BD's home. If the download came from that computer and ended up at BD's, unless the husband was spending time at BD's that is a tough defense to make. KWIM? That flash drive ties it to Shawn and then BD.

Her husband is mentioned in the Affidavit for search warrant as being the one to actually handed the computer to LEO.

This is a simple logic problem. No man would ever hide a flashkey with porn in a woman's dresser drawer if he didn't want her to know about it. Since that's where it was, and I presume BD knew the contents of her own dresser, therefore, she must have known about it.

I think Marc Klass is angry because BD didn't tell him what else the police took when they served the search warrant. He knew about the crime stories (we all did) but he didn't know about the porn and she "conveniently" didn't tell him.

109,000 images sounds like customer stock to me. I've never heard of any run of the mill deviant porn collector having that many images. Sounds like a business. MOO.

I didn't know they had confirmed that what was on the flash came from the computer at his moms.

oh, good question. We haven't heard much about SA mom or dad. BUT if she does have a husband or boyfriend, that doesn't explain why a memory stick full of porn was found at BD's house. Unless, SA and dad or Mom's boyfriend trades photos? I doubt it thought, all those images are probably SA's. SICK, SICK!

The return on warrant indicated that these devices in the Dunn home contained “approximately 320 images and videos of a pornographic nature.”

The computer seized in Big Spring contained “approximately 108,498 pictures depicting deviant acts,” according to the document. The computer was described as a Dell Inspiron 530 containing a Western Digital 500-gigabyte hard drive.

So the pictures at his mom's had the beastiality and child porn on it. BD's had porn.

That is a very good observation. Not only is it huge, but I would think it would have cost a lot of money to acquire all of it. jmo

Looks like the warrant must have been for "electronic devices" in the home.

It doesn't matter that the computer belonged to Mom. BD gave police permission to search the home and it was there.

That's where he was the day she was last seen by him....and said he was on the puter. The father/bf? gave LE permission to take it and the mother went down to LE to retrieve later. They stopped the forensics on it, but got a warrant to search further.

Was it really the father/bf that originally volunteered the computer over to them? If so, that may mean it was NOT his porn stash on there. imo

That is true if the same login and password was used every time. Hopefully it was. Also any idea as to why they specifically went to his mom's. Also if they searched her house with a warrant, why can't they search the property. Sorry for the firestorm of questions. tia

I think they mean username and password used to log onto the computer itself, not the websites. Maybe even the name and password used to get online.
