SA: Can you repeat what you believe Det M said to you about ICA coming home?

GA: He said he needed to talk to my daughter again and that she was not coming home (paraphrased)

GA then states upon questioning states it could have been "might" not be coming home, he doesn't know.

He can't keep anything straight.

  • #1,003
I don't think might was any part of it....it could have been might.

LDB pulling out depo now. Hold on bout to get bumpy.

LDB approaching George with his deposition...

GA:

"She's not coming home"

"It could have been might not coming home"

She doesn't seem thrilled with GA's testimony.

  • #1,008
As former LE, shouldn't he know that changing his answers during testimony is NEVER a good thing to do? It's only making him look WORSE!

  • #1,009
Linda making George eat his own words through previous testimony.

YES!

  • #1,010
Oh boy! It could have been "might" not be coming back home but it could have been "is not" coming home. Linda DB whipping out that deposition....

So do you remember he was specific in saying "George she might not be coming back home?"

  • #1,011
LDB had to step back after handing GA the paperwork. Can't stay too long in the black aura.Lethal

  • #1,012
I was thinking LDB was being pretty agressive with the A's and wondered why but I just had a revelation.
BP will never be able to find them agents of the state now, the A's are barely civil to the SAO. Ewww ICA's mad about the first hour of the entire case unfolding, imagine the ME reports :rocker:

IMO, there's no way a jury will believe anything George has to say. He has a lousy attitude and it won't help Casey at all.

  • #1,014
It could have been "might not be coming back home" it could have been "not been coming home".

Refresh recollection - showing testimony.

I said she might not be coming back, yes, I can see that.

George - she MIGHT not be coming back home.

Disputes his current testimony that LE said She is NOT coming back home (ie, arrested).

When you woke you daughter up, did you communicate this information to her?

2 officers are coming to bring her in for questioning? Did you tell her she might not be coming home?

GA: No, I did not communicate that to her.

Baez on cross -

Now JB going into how traumatized GA was that night.

  • #1,016
Now Jose is going to coddle dear old GA. *rolleyes*

  • #1,017
I can remember things when YOU ask me. Just not when LDB asks me.

  • #1,018
No George, the night of July 15th is NOT the most traumatic thing that has happened to your family.....

  • #1,019
I'm sure the A's will go on a talk show tour after this, fussing about how mean the SA was to them. *eyeroll*

  • #1,020
I don't understand the hostility towards LDB...if this family does this during trial, the jurors will see what they are trying to do and it will be DONE for ICA...she will be toast...keep it up, Georgie Boy, very disrespectfull for a form er LE agent...JMHO
