What is she doing with the depositions? Circling things and writing "this didn't happen" or "I didn't say that"?

Prob. I am sure the defense just gave her a pen and a depositions/legal pad to entertain her. Kind of like I do with my 3 year old when I am busy doing grown up stuff and he wants to pretend to be a grown up. He pulls out his fake laptop and start typing away and he feels like an adult.

He couldn't recall the most basic info, but could recount an entire conversation with KC? If this was trial time and I was a juror, I'd completely disregard his testimony.

I think Hosey (sp?) thought this was just a domestic thing and I don't think he's lying, but he was far too vague.

I wouldn't disregard him - there was so much going on but in his mind the most important thing was the mother and child issue and that's what he has good recall on. The handcuff event is a non-event to everyone but Baez.

can you imagine how hectic it was at that house that night when they arrived? Cindy and casey were screaming back and forth (according to lee) to where they had to seperate them. Stolen monies, stolen car, stolen child. Cindy saying there is, casey saying, no, she is fine... My mom's a basically a lunatic. It had to be confusing.

I also think that it is nice that they are at least being honest with what they don't remember. Hosey (s?) could have easily just as much lied about the handcuffing (remembering) when he didn't. He told them he honestly doesn't remember that incident.

Whatever... I think that the written statement and the statement at the house will be in... The universal studios will be out (it's just too iffy).

ita......

And now, origami with KC Anthony.

Step one: fold piece of legal paper in half
Step two: tear piece of legal paper in half
Step three: hide one half of legal paper under legal pad
Step four: scribble intently "Jose, can you ask them to give me a turkey sandwich for lunch today? That baloney was gross yesterday. Heart you!)" while using legal pad as camera shield

And on, and on, and on...

I think it was so confusing that I can imagine that he wouldn't remember if she was cuffed or not. I mean, think about it, being at that house with those people. I know I would definitely remember Casey saying it was no big deal, though. That would stick out on my mind, especially later on after it was obvious that Caylee was dead. That would probably stick in my mind forever.

I don't like him not remembering it, but I don't blame him either. I guess I just view it differently. I'm not saying his testimony was the best, but I wouldn't just throw out it either knowing this family and the defendant, or if I was a juror, after seeing her family on the stand and watching her reactions before the sgt. got to the stand.

...let's not forget, that on that night, none of this hullabaloo had happened - no media, no evidence, nada. Just another July night in OTown.

oh dear...jb dazing up at the ceiling --- contemplation......:fence:

I bet that HHJP has already decided what to let in and what to keep out in regards to KC's statements on July 15, 16. He doesn't even have to decipher JB's "out there" questioning....who could? LOL

I hope not Lola...this is what started the alleged murder investigation. No credible information, never asked for an attorney, she was free to leave at anytime, she was freely giving statements voluntarily. NO one put a gun to her head....

She writes him personal notes in a folded paper so no onw can read it or photograph it. Of course she has so much important thought and insight into the legal arguments happening right now. (sarcastic..)

Writing notes to her "loved ones" while pretending to look at her case papers? I think I remember that technique in high school, writing a note to pass to a friend and making sure that every few moments I look like I'm being studious, in case teach caught us.

  • #455
She sure has perfected the effect of "looking busy" and "working," hasn't she...

  • #456
does she get to lunch with anyone from her "team"????

  • #457
Why is she studying and preparing more than her own legal team?

  • #458
And WHY does he need to be sitting with the defense? Do Melich and Allen get to sit with the SA?

BTW - grown men (especially in Florida) look ridiculous in mock turtlenecks. Also dark pants would have been more appropriate than khakis with that "Solidarity Red" color he is sporting.

because JL and JB are the negative poles in the same universe and are bucking for first chair

KC: 'During the break I made my own stationary.'
'Here is what I wrote: Dear Jose, When you get me off lets run away together!'

I'm waiting for her to do that four square paper thingy that is supposed to tell who you're marrying, what kind of house you'll have, how many kids you'll have and I think your favorite color or something like that. LOL.

And wow, that hair. I think I'm going to start calling her Rapunzel.
