2011.03.07 Motion Hearing - *Updated* Key Ruling In! See Motions Thread (sticky)

My stomach is churning waiting on this Order to be published. :nerves:

I'm gonna do us all a favor - I need to wash my car, so I will go do that. I am sure the minute I leave it will be posted. lol

I don't blame you. Between this and waiting on the press conference in the Hailey Dunn case, I am going crazy! I'm going to make myself grade for awhile and come back later.

I guess CA was in a manic phase of her depression for that interview.
She sure throws the sweeties around. Reminded me of ICAs affected speech in the first call home from jail. You know I love you sweetie but......blech.

Just an observation and personal opinion here...a bunch of us recalled the Universal interview as Casey being told she could leave if she wanted, when those words were not spoken. I believe the words, "Obviously the doors unlocked. We just closed it so we could have a little privacy and talk to you," allowed me to infer that she was free to go. The inference is there.

Aedrys, excellent point. IMO, there has to be some leeway accorded to LE in their investigation of a complaint. This family called them to investigate the "kidnapping" of Caylee so how is it possible that now LE is being criticized for doing what they were summoned for?

Have we hamstrung our police officers this much in this Country?

:banghead:

Looking forward to the rulings..
So interesting to see wisdom from the Bench.
If the esteemed YM were to write a memoir..
( with proceeds donated to Tim Miller)
I'd buy us all a copy. Tentatively titled... 'Audacity'
hmm.. that sorta lyricly rolls off the tongue..
might make a wonderful name for the adopted Irish baby ..
whom I assume will babble with an irish accent..
whenever ICA gets around to her to-do list.
Thanks for the company, all.

If you need a chuckle as a tension release go to Todays News posted by SleutherontheSide and read the Orlando Sentinel review of the detective re Todd Malcuso - it is O/T but too funny for words.

Was it Jose? :great:

Nothing yet? Seriously?
I have cleaned out my car and done the laundry. Guess I'll start putting away the winter clothes. A watched pot,and all that.

Okay, I'm holding you to that LOL:)
Irish accented baby...just when I forget about that, someone mentions it and I laugh all over again!
Seriously, though, we do not want to have to wait until Monday for this ruling!?!?!? I'm having a hard time getting any work done because I'm so curious!

On a side note: I'm a teacher, and Spring Break is next week, so I have the week off (hooray!) I got sooo super extra excited when I realized that the Frye hearings are next week. Then I remembered how it was actually kind of nice to not have to watch those last hearings we had live, because when I watched them at home I was able to fast forward through a certain person's incessant Leghorn-like mumbling. (Well, I say I say those police sure scared that poor wittle girl). I'm still excited and will watch them live, though. I just might have to take some extra breaks:)

I guess I should go add this to the "you know you're addicted" thread...
You know you're addicted to this case when you look forward to your week off of work more than usual simply because you'll get to watch hearings live. LOL Does that make me a :loser:? Do I care?

:seeya:

It sure was . It comes down to whether HHJP believes that's enough.

tick...tock...tick....tock.... thinking that perhaps the super huge full moon that we are about to experience will impact todays decision????

..it's quite clear that she's there of her own free will.

Um, the date right now is July 16th, 2008, it’s about 1320 hours. We’re at Universal Studios I’m here
with Sergeant Allen, um, I’m here with Detective Appie Wells, um, also here with Casey Anthony.
YM: And Casey, we talked earlier this morning and we’re working a case looking for your daughter Caylee,
is that correct?
A Yes.
YM:-Okay. We came here to Universal Studios, we’re sitting in a little conference room. Obviously the
door’s unlocked. We just closed it so we could have a little privacy and talk to you.
A-Uh-huh. (Affirmative).

(SERGEANT ALLEN)
Q-Hold, hold on, I want to ask you something.
A-Yes, sir.
Q-Like he said, you, you seem like a pretty bright person, okay. You’re here willingly, right?
A-Uh-huh. (Affirmative).
Q-You’re here ‘cause you want, you’re here to try to help, right?
A-Oh, absolutely.
Q-Your whole reason for talking to us is, is to try to help, right?
A-Uh-huh. (Affirmative)
Q-Nobody’s forced you to talk to us, right?
A-No.
Q-You, you want us, you want us to…you’re here because you called, you want us to help find your
daughter, right?
A-Uh-huh. (Affirmative).

-----universal interview---

Thank you so much for finding this and posting it. I never thought to look on youtube.

At that time, JB had no problem with ICA answering any questions because they were just trying to find Caylee.

Further on in this video, CA was trying to get the word out about Caylee being missing, but backed away from answering any questions from Greta about ICA. I don't believe CA had figured anything out yet, but she was running scared.

Maybe the Judge is pullying a JB by waiting until the last second to release his ruling....

Two more hours...I hate to say it, but this might not come out until Monday. Argh!

Nothing yet? Seriously?

You know, it's a shame when simple household duties (washing cars, laundry, etc...) makes me think of Cindy Anthony cleaning Casey's car and washing the pants. :banghead:

I'm pathetic. I know! :slap:

Ya know? maybe there are parts of the tape we never heard, I'm not sure. I have watched A LOT of true crime shows and this bothers me! i'm gonna bother my "cop friend" and ask.
A) I have NEVER seen a person "IN CUSTODY" interviewed/interrogated ANYWHERE other than at the precinct ~ this Disney mess makes NO SENSE!
B) I also have never heard a taped interview begin without the investigator stating his name suspects name date time and that the suspect has been advised of their rights/mirandized... and has or has not decided to speak without a lawyer present/does not seek counsel at this time...

unless they are holding some of that tape out they may have boo-bood BIG TIME??

No kidding! My favorite statements in that interview:
"The Orlando area knows what I am all about"
:giggle: Now there's an understatement! The whole world does, sweetie!

"I'm under a lot a pressure, am I mentally unstable?"
 No comment.

This is worse than when I waited for my nephew to be born last month, and my sister was in labor for twenty nine hours!!!!

Come on HHJP, give us that ruling!

In my minds eye, HHJP is giving a cheeky little grin to himself..
A 4:59 ruling.. Just for laffs..
His Honor is a Card.. he just gives that l'il vibe..
Okay, like the rest..Time to be productive..
