2011.03.07 Motion Hearing - *Updated* Key Ruling In! See Motions Thread (sticky)

I've been waiting hours for this, hope it comes in soon as I'm so tired.

No kidding! My favorite statements in that interview:
"The Orlando area knows what I am all about"
:giggle: Now there's an understatement! The whole world does, sweetie!

"I'm under a lot a pressure, am I mentally unstable?"
 No comment.

When CA sat there while social services interviewed her daughter when she was out on bail in their home and KC said she looked for 31 days and when she couldn't find her, she went home to her parents and told them, and CA lets this happen, yes Cindy, you are mentally unstable. It is called profound denial. And lets put selfish in there too - since you want George to be in profound denial also and he is.

This is worse than when I waited for my nephew to be born last month, and my sister was in labor for twenty nine hours!!!!

Come on HHJP, give us that ruling!

.................. :therethere:

I can see Judge Perry waiting until the last minute so he could turn off his work phone at exactly 5:00pm and not have to be bombarded with calls from the defense whining about his rulings. He's got to get some rest before the Frye Hearings next week!

Ya know? maybe there are parts of the tape we never heard, I'm not sure. I have watched A LOT of true crime shows and this bothers me! i'm gonna bother my "cop friend" and ask.
A) I have NEVER seen a person "IN CUSTODY" interviewed/interrogated ANYWHERE other than at the precinct ~ this Disney mess makes NO SENSE!
B) I also have never heard a taped interview begin without the investigator stating his name suspects name date time and that the suspect has been advised of their rights/mirandized... and has or has not decided to speak without a lawyer present/does not seek counsel at this time...

unless they are holding some of that tape out they may have boo-bood BIG TIME??

I doubt any of the tape is missing, Casey told them she worked there, they were trying to find out what the hell was going on, Casey was not in custody but LE were very smart and made sure they got all her statements on the record. I don't think the police made any mistakes and I don't consider the Universal trip to be a mistake. It is a perfect illustration of how far Casey is willing to take "this" --- and that is all the way to the end of a hallway.

You know, it's a shame when simple household duties (washing cars, laundry, etc...) makes me think of Cindy Anthony cleaning Casey's car and washing the pants. :banghead:

I'm pathetic. I know! :slap:

The fact that GA & CA took it upon themselves to thoroughly, or so they'd thought clean ICA's car is what really threw me over the edge in terms of what they knew she had done to Caylee. I believe in my heart and soul, and all that I am that the two of them knew Caylee was gone, truly gone once they got to the tow yard and smelled the inside of that vehicle! I do not think they believe that she did it purposely however, but imho they knew none the less that Caylee was gone. Maybe they chose not to believe so until her remains were found. I also believe that Lee knew too. They live in their very own little world of DENIAL. JMHO

No you aren't pathetic cause It crosses my mind to when I am doing chores. Makes my tummy roll with nausea. It is so utterly sickening that poor little Caylee never, ever had a fair chance for the beautiful life that she so deserved. She was an object of desire, jealousy & fights between the two CA's.

In my minds eye, HHJP is giving a cheeky little grin to himself..
A 4:59 ruling.. Just for laffs..
His Honor is a Card.. he just gives that l'il vibe..
Okay, like the rest..Time to be productive..

Give JB a whole weekend to sit and stress about the ruling. My guess is HHJP will rule at 4:55 :) It doesn't look to be in JB's favor though -- but that's just my opinion.

I have a hunch we my not hear today if HHJP just got back. Maybe he hasn't had the time to research enough yet to make his rulings,

Hope i'm wrong!!

Nothing yet, huh? It feels like when I'm waiting a ruling on one of my own cases. Nervous and excited.

LOL! You crack me up. I can see his point though. I think he has had plenty of time to research and read up and knows exactly what he is going to do. Now he needs to pass the info along to all of us who are seeking justice for little Caylee.

I figure he pretty knew what he was going to rule before the hearing started, lol. He's probably just waiting until the last minute so he can't be bugged by Baez and Mason immediately after it comes out.

I have a hunch that Judge Perry did all the research he needed to do before the hearings were even held. He may have wanted to go back and re-read some of the depositions and listen to some of the tapes before he made his final decision after listening to the testimony, but he is always one step ahead. At least from what I have noticed about him.

Household chores remind me of CA too...Since the day I saw CA's white furniture, white baseboards, white carpet and white tile with 2 dogs and a toddler in her house but these white items were spotless! I have been on a mission to get mine as clean, shiny and spotless as hers.
I fail miserably at this endeaor on a weekly basis....oh well!

I like the way your mind works!
Letting JB watch his pcket squares wilt all weekend.
A fun visual to make my chores a tad more enjoyable..
I hear a WS'r has chronic laundry trouble..maybe I'll go help fold..

You know, I would much rather have a home that looks like it is lived in than a house that is spotless and looks like it has no life living in it at all. I would want my guests and the people living in my house to feel comfortable and at home rather than walking on eggshells.

ETA: My carpet and tile is a light beige.

I asked a lawyer that I work with about this..."so then, should every questioning by LE of ANYBODY begin with...you have the right to remain silent?" and she said "No. The test is if the person being questioned feels they can leave without answering questions and the handcuffing issue here in this case is a test".....
But I think it is 50/50 here in this case....it was an active investigation into the disappearance/kidnapping of a child, the deputy who handcuffed her thought he was there on auto theft/money theft issue. KC had absolutely no problem NOT ANSWERING QUESTIONS the day the LEOs took her in after the interstate chase after the grand jury indictment.

Meeeee too! Of course, that is my excuse for NOT keeping house the way my mother did! "We like to live in our house"
Truth is, I just don't like to clean!

Great post!!

How about every time an officer pulls someone over for a small traffic violation? You have the right to remain silent... before the officer can even ask you for your license and registration? It's senseless! Casey was the mother of a missing child!! Nothing more... nothing less at that moment she was being questioned by LE.
