:truce:

I wonder what Joy Wray is doing tonight? Looks like this Brenda woman is trying to steal her thunder.

Speaking of Joy Wray, does anyone think that Detective Melich, Detective Edwards and Detective Allen wished they had eyes in the back of their heads when she was sitting behind them in court last week. :floorlaugh:

Another interesting look at CA as she got all indignant about the yard!
http://www.wftv.com/news/16975536/detail.html

(I bet she told her buddy Holly!)

Didn't George also tell about him doing this concrete slab work in his depo or an interview with either LE or the FBI??

40 bags of concrete, mixed and poured?
That's ALOT of work for one man to do in one day, or even 2.

Digging, leveling things out - placing a sand bottom, tamping it down, making a frame, and then mixing by hand and pouring all 40 bags of cement, even that "quick set" stuff.

Interesting - Cindy writes my Caylee is Missing on July 3rd, appears to be up all night with worry, and the next day, George is out back laying a new slab of concrete.............:waitasec: Really???
Just not something that I can see George doing, getting his pastels all dirty and stuff.

Defense Reciprocal Discovery:

Forensic Biology Lab Report (3 pages) - NMS Labs, Willow Grove, PA
Fairgrieve Report (1 page)
Furton Report (9 pages)
Huntington Report (7 pages)
Logan Report and CV (48 pages, most of it CV)
Haskell tables for report (2 pages)

I take it Dr Logan was eventually tracked down by Mr Baez. :floorlaugh:

So where is Cathy Reich's report. :waitasec:

I don't understand WHY on the invoices for payments that the PI is just randomly driving to "mitigation witness interview attempt". One of the entries says "not able to access building". Why would they not have made appointments. Sure sounds like a huge waste of money to me. And, it's not just a couple there are lots!!!! Look at 12/22/10, 12/23, 12/27, 12/28 and 12/29.

..i agree. and check out the dates that the P.I. decided to do this----just before and after Christmas.

..the majority of Intelli Investigations billings seem to be sending memos/driving around aimlessly, looking up phone numbers/addresses...

http://www.wesh.com/pdf/26557921/detail.html
--page 6--

..k.delaney is willing to do this for $24/hr. j.colon and g.colon will happily accept , and bill, JAC ( for doing what? ) @ $40/hr.

..and now that baez has again run out of "investigative hours", he is asking for another 300.

If not, it is over $2 grand to get them all - not including the ones filed today.

MuzikMan, two things you should consider.

1. Request the documents directly from the State Attorney's Office. Unlike the clerk, who is statutorily allowed to charge you $1 a page because they are "court records" and not "public records", the State Attorneys office can only charge you copying costs. Also, as the State Attorney likely has all of the information scanned in advance, they would likely give it to you on a CD in PDF format. It would probably only take you an extra day to get the docs.

2. Invest in a personal scanner like the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 Instant PDF Sheet-Fed Scanner. It is USB powered, meaning it is powered from your laptop, and would allow you to take the documents into the side viewing room and scan them directly to your laptop.

I am willing to bet the savings would be substantial.

Nice tip Richard, I'm sure MuzikMan will appreciate it :). MM must have spent a small fortune up to now.

ETA, I had no idea it was that expensive.

From that same link the next story down it mentions Deputy Carlos Padilla. I had forgotten about him. Maybe that is the Padilla Casey is talking about to MH on myspace. Especially since JB is calling him a liar.

The same article says JB was on Nancy Grace. I don't remember that ever happening. JVM yes.

Nancy Grace Interrogates Attorney Jose Baez
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 8:00 PM Transcript from Nancy Grace's Show

GRACE: With us tonight, a special guest. The lawyer, Jose Baez, the attorney for Casey Anthony, little Caylee`s mother, is with us live. We are taking your calls live tonight.

JVM yes.

I believe the "Padilla" Casey is talking about it MH is the Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla

JB was accusing the OCSO very early on in the case
YES Jose Baez DID appear on Nancy Grace early on, but she wasn't as "nice" to hims JVM is

I'm remembering this being said also.

Maybe from one of the "Greta" interviews when the Anthony's did their walk about in the backyard??

I can't reember where or which but IIRC GA stated that when they brought the car home they checked all over the backyard...just in case....and yes it kinda went without saying, kinda implying....they were looking for a body.....

after JVM went a little  over Lindsay Lohans leather outfit the other day....I'm thinking next interview with her with the defense, I hope they wear LEATHER.....she really comes unglued over that!

... I don't think that it has anything to do with them not wanting to know the truth, because they know the truth... they just don't want anyone else to know the truth (even though we know the truth too).

I do not think that testing for male DNA, and not female DNA, is going to sit too well with a jury. We all understand why they did this because we have been following this case for so long, but a jury, who hasn't followed this case, is going to want to know why they only tested for male DNA when Casey claims (over and over again) that a female by the name of Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez had kidnapped Caylee. Unless the defense is going to claim that Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez was actually a man living as a woman and that is the reason they can not find her... it will make no sense to a jury why they did not test for female DNA.

The only logical explanation is that they knew that IF they were able to obtain DNA that was from a female that it would be Casey Marie Anthony's DNA or Caylee Marie Anthony's DNA. They couldn't take any chances... the defense makes Casey look really guilty by doing this though. Really guilty!!!

(Snipped respectfully)

IMO, JB just produced another significant piece of evidence that confirms ICA was the person who killed Caylee. What boggles my mind is JB's decision to test for any Male DNA which he knew would be useless unless he was hoping George or Lee's DNA would show up.

JB's exclusion for female DNA screams loudly that one, Casey's DNA was going to show up and two, JB knows there is no ZFG, nanny, babysitter, caretaker or any other inference to a Zanni.

Isn't this taught in Law 102 Never Never develop, produce or suggest evidence, testimony, tests, theories that points to the guilt of your client?:banghead: Geesh.:rocker:

Starting about page 215. On page 216 - 27 bags of concrete.

I do think the defense was hoping that they would find Roy Kronk's DNA out there... he was going to the bathroom out there and he did come into some contact with Caylee's remains. Poor guy!! What a nightmare this must be for him.

RBBM--Lola! I think you just gave away JB's Top Secret "A-Ha!" Moment! :giggle:

Good advice, Richard but it's still astronomical....Over $2000 to put out is alot of money...we can always wait for the media (wesh, wftv) to post them and get them free....whatever they don't get, MM can then get and it would be cheaper yet! I'm frugal....can't you tell.... Money is hard to come by these days and a penny saved would be a penny earned...LOL

July 17, 2008, The Anthony's search their backyard BEFORE LE arrived to search

http://www.clickorlando.com/news/17291314/detail.html August 25 2008

"The documents also stated that before detectives arrived to perform a search of the back yard of Casey Anthony's parents' home, Cindy Anthony, Caylee's grandmother, checked inside the sheds and George Anthony, Caylee's grandfather, moved a playhouse and looked underneath concrete pavers for "any evidence of foul play."
Detectives said they also noticed a strange, suspicious depression near the swimming pool, the documents stated."

Hmmm.. wonder what they were looking for, Zanny? They must have been verrrry worried her body may be found out there to move the playhouse and look under pavers. Proves they dismissed the Zanny story as lies from the get-go.

I remember this so well. This was so hinky to me at the time that I was convinced the baby was buried out back.

ETA: "Convinced" upon first hearing this on the news, that was until LE came in investigated the backyard, and announced they had found no body.

Oh Do You Think So? I thought it was a great idea....:innocent:

Me too. It made sense to me to look. Body in the trunk - body in the back yard....Geez if you will use the trunk of your own car - I would assume you'd use your back garden also.....:loser:
