This link states today that toombs says more searches could take place either in the MISSING person case or the CP.

This tells me they havent found what they are looking for to call this a homicide and the arrest will most likey be in the CP.
For 2 reasons.
1 . They have enough evidence in the CP to make an arrest and would not need to search for more.

2. They would not need to search for evidence in the missing person case had they had evidence of foul play. They would have warrent to search for evidence in a murder .JMO. No need to use the CP as an excuse to go in and search.

I find it interesting that BD's lawyer is a bigger gun than SA's lawyer, since SA is the one who appears to be the main suspect in Hailey's case. Not that I believe he is or the only one. MOO.

I agree -- it is interesting ... considering Billie's attorney is "death penalty qualified" ...

I believe Billie has more on her "plate" than just those 3 charges from Thur 3-17-11 ... possible "other" charges like the child and her daughter's disappearance.

I think Schmerty was joking about the DP. Obviously, as you point out, we are not there yet.

However, I don't agree that we should be making these two issues separate. In my mind, the Child and Bestiality is CONNECTED to this child being missing. Whether she ran off, was traded into child trafficking or was assaulted in her home---either way, it was connected to this vile filth that one or both of them were obsessed with. This addiction to violent sexual images fueled Shawns actions, whatever they turn out to be.

I don't think you can easily separate the two issues. And sadly, in the end, LE may only bring the CP charges to trial, if she is never found.

Yes, I have had one little theory that I have kept tucked away, when things were looking pretty rough, I would go to that unrealistic theory, that one theory that contained one itty bitty strand of hope...but BJD blew that theory out of the middle of my heart when she hired an atty. I just Love my fellow WSers and that's what keeps me from saying what I really want to say because if this were real life and ya'll were sittin' in my living room, you would hear words comin' out of my mouth that would make a sailor blush. I hate this $^*@, %^(*, Blankity Blank &^#$% excuse of a woman and I wish I could #$8&%# the ever livin' $^!@ out of her!

I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt on this one...because to go from thinking you don't need a lawyer at all, to needing a DP lawyer, is a huge giant leap. IMO, BD got a very well rounded lawyer, because somebody recommended him or something like that. MOO.

My fear is that LE was being honest when they said they wouldn't bring charges until Hailey was found. I think they are doing everything they can to get to the bottom of the issues and file all the charges they can on that. But I am not convinced it will lead to Hailey...I don't see Billie ever admitting to so much as a fib, and if SA is the "one", he can't risk talking either. The only chance might be is if Billie is the primary guilty party in Hailey's disappearance and SA turns on her. Billie won't admit ever knowing what happened to H in my opinion, because that would mean she would have to admit to lying. I think that her need to be believed tops all other needs, including those of her child.

I didnt separate the issues, Toombs did in his statement in the article. IMO He made the issue- separate issues because he HAS to, if he could tie the two together and use it as evidence to support a different case I think he would. So my personal conclusion is he cant do that right now. He is holding out on turning the case of the CP over to the grand jury because he wants to be able to do so. I think.

so is he trying to say if they knocked on BD's door to talk to SA and she lied, than that's not lying to LE? It's only lying if they have a warrant to knock on your door? :waitasec:
