Dr. Vass is doing research on the possibility of using flies to locate bodies, graves, etc. and placing electronic "leashes" on them. I find this fascinating.

His statement that the smell of human decomp is as unique as the smell of a skunk, was interesting...wonder if that holds any weight?

The smell of human decomposition is as unique to me as a skunk smell is to most people. Garbage, etc (long list) never smells like human decomp. When I opened the carpet sample I jumped back about two feet it was the smell of decomp.
