THIS - the database issue - is the defense's only shot at keeping Dr. Vass from testifying in front of a jury, imo. This is a huge issue.

That is why JA keeps objecting.

I agree and as much as I loved the exchange, a better answer would have been - No, after replicating the experiment with the data given, I would then collect my own data to see if again, the experiment could be replicated.
