I don't believe too much in rewards as far as solving cases, but this is one that it could work...this case seems to reek of the sort of people who might scramble over each other to grab for the money...

But they would have to be innocent...that is a catch.

Some "reflections".... Since beginning they have always considered her "deceased or under duress", thoughts were always along that line... but as time goes on reasonable adults, including himself, we feel like she is "probably" deceased. Prosecutors did not ask him to say this.

He hasn't read everything out there and studied it, but being asked about Hailey's status, in his thinking, and in being asked, reasonably she probably is deceased, but he's adding in a slim possibility of being under duress. But there's no proof.

Interesting, the "I don't think anybody does." He's either not in the loop with what LE knows, or he's being deliberate in the "I don't think" part.

He's talking about how they're willing to open reward to anyone at all who can add anything at all to the investigation to take it to another level. My translation: we have nothing at all, so any information that moves this investigation along, we'll open the reward to that.
