You know, maybe it is actually CM. He has had almost no role to play except to file motions, which have all been denied.
He looks completely bored in the hearings and sometimes I am certain he has nodded off.
He lost his temper at Kathi Belich several days ago and was severely criticized by his peers and the media.
HHJP has been noticeably less jovial with CM and his good ole boy style.
CM was caught by Bill Schaeffer and many others making an obscene gesture at the prosecutors on the last day of the Frye hearings, which again made press and very negative press.
So out of all of them, it appears CM is the one who is NOT having fun.:great:
So maybe the :bigfight: has gone out of him and he has had ithdear: with Baez's obvious blunders and need for control when he is obviously out of his depth. It probably isn't CM, but it should be IMO.
She is actually an expert in finding fallacies or inconsistencies in experts in medical malpractice trials isn't she?
You are correct darnudes. Ann Finnell is the older woman, and is there for the mitigation part of the trial. She is however DP qualified.
Dorothy Clay Simms is the younger woman, with the fluffy tangled hair who was present during the Frye hearings. She is there to help with questioning and interrogating scientific evidence ( in place of LKB ) I believe DCS is DP qualified as well?
Okay, now at the end and no word yet - that is the fastest I have ever read a thread.
I can't for one moment believe that Ann Finnell would withdraw, she is the only lawyer making a worthwhile contribution and is probably working her butt off on the mitigation aspect, as well as keeping Baez from a contempt charge. I don't believe she would be able to withdraw because of her morals as she might believe she would be contributing to a clients death sentence. I believe Miss Finnell is the only one who is able to, because of her ethics, see this one out till the end. For Miss Finnell this is not about money, book deals nor publicity - Miss Finnell won't bail because of lack of travel expenses or some such rubbish, yes Baden and Lyon, I'm looking right at ya!
Miss Finnell is head and shoulders above all the defense team lawyers that have participated in this case.
I base this opinion on watching and listening to Miss Finnell during the hearings and nothing else, but this lady appears to have class, ethics and morals.
She was brought on to take on the forensics after LKB exited.
For that reason, I predict it is AF's motion to withdraw. I never understood WTH JB was questioning Furton instead of AF. It made no sense at all to me. I keep thinking, "well, if she isn't going to examine the forensic experts, what exactly IS she going to do?"
I saw someone else ask RH on his blog why it was JB instead of AF examining the forensic witnesses and he said it made no sense to him either.
If I were her, I would wave goodbye in a heartbeat after JB's mess during the Frye hearings.

These were comments he made BEFORE coming on her defense team. I don't blame him now for not commenting, as I think it is very smart, but then again, I think after making the comments he did back before, he shouldn't have joined the team to begin with.
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:Lookie, if you people have to put on black catsuits and repel through the roof of the courthouse, get to it. I gotta know who is leaving.

Casey Anthony Attorney to withdraws from case?

I'm confused - wasn't AF brought on for mitigation not forensics? Why would AF be questioning Furton?
Now I am totally confused because I know I heard AF state she would be there until the end because she is the mitigation expert which means she would have to be there at the end of the sentencing.
And DS was suppose to do the forensic experts and that is why she was questioning Dr. Logan on Friday.
