Is there a language barrier?

I was wondering the same thing?
My mother speaks English, it is not the language she grew up with, and I know she would have some difficulty fully understanding and comprehending all that is being presented in a trial.

Mason wants her, she will NOT judge ICA.

This type of juror makes me very nervous, it only takes one to upset the apple cart........and CM wants her!!!

Can't imagine the DT would want pet-lovers. People who love and are concerned about their pets (part of the family), I would think would be appalled at ICA and what she did to her child.

Juror #1367 Hispanic female. Works for GE Aviation??. Does not speak English too well. She does not sound happy to be in court, much less to serve on an 8 week trial.

I love Judge Perry. He really gets amused by some of these people.

OMG - Juror spoke to JB during lunch...

  • #1,469
Just about everytime someone gets up there.

They have done at least 4 jurors since I came back and Judge Perry hasn't told any of them that they are not on camera.

JB spoke to her in Spanish at the lunch time break

  • #1,472
Wow! JB disclosing that he had an encounter with this juror in Spanish.

JB wants her, but isn't forthcoming about what the question/answer were.

OMG Baez wants her back..she speaks spanish

WOW! JB is admitting to having interaction with this lady at lunch. She spoke to him in spanish. I'm shocked he admitted it.

Mr. George asking about the interaction - JB saying she only asked him if he spoke spanish.

  • #1,479
This lady is very hesitant, English is not her first language, has a sick dog that requires shots twice a day, not sure if she'll get paid.
No questions from anyone.
Mr George wants her kept on the list and check into her pay situation.
JB says mumble mumble -Mr George says he doesn't know what he said.JB wants her to come back..

  • #1,480
Why would JB bring up the fact that she asked him a question and leave it lingering when she only asked him if he spoke Spanish? She was probably asking where she needed to go and had no idea who he was. JB is a piece of work.
