Would not be good to have that woman on the jury for Casey if her dog died during the trial.

Wow! JB disclosing that he had an encounter with this juror in Spanish.

JB wants her, but isn't forthcoming about what the question/answer were.

Hmmmm....

Maybe that's what the fuss was with the guards - maybe they spotted him.

I love Judge Perry. He really gets amused by some of these people.

:great::great::great:

Yes ... :HHJP: is in a very good mood today ! :woohoo:

And :HHJP: makes the "prospective jurors" feel very at ease and comfortable. :woohoo:

OMG....JB had an interaction with a prospective juror!!!!!!!!

She asked him a question in Spanish.

Why the HE77 was he anywhere near the jurors?????????????

And why wouldn't JB bring this up to the court before the juror was called into the room??????

  • #1,489
Right, but someone who goes into it knowing she cannot convict, guilty or not, should not serve, she is just as biased.

I totally agree, this would most likely end in a hung jury. Hope she does not get seated.

How many jurors have they gone through up to now?

  • #1,491
I just love all of the people who have children to care for!

Do ya hear that Casey? :gavel:

  • #1,492
WOW! JB is admitting to having interaction with this lady at lunch. She spoke to him in spanish. I'm shocked he admitted it.

Mr. George asking about the interaction - JB saying she only asked him if he spoke spanish.

BBM

and thats the happiest he has looked all day. sheesh.

A five year old described by HHJP as a child of tender years!! Yay HHJP!!!

  • #1,494
They have done at least 4 jurors since I came back and Judge Perry hasn't told any of them that they are not on camera.

Just watch, DT will try to use that to get an extension or dismissal! :loser:

<Unusual people>

I think they could have saved a TON of time if they had filtered these jurors a little better.

There is no reason for an 82 year old man or a single father of a 5yo to have wasted their day at the courthouse (or maybe send them over to another trial that wouldn't involve 6-8 weeks of sequestration out of town).

What a HUGE WASTE of time.

There is no freaking way they're going to pick a jury in a week.

Poor Judge has to speak all day.....getting cottonmouth.

Another single father. I don't suppose the DT would want them on the jury.

Agreed. Typically in my area the father only gets full custody if the mother is a frequent criminal or dope head.

So we're at 1 African American 2 Asian and now 4 Hispanic in this group of jurors. That I could tell from sound only. I'm just keeping track because JB made such a big deal about it.

Ummm... I thought if you were on probation you couldn't serve on a jury? I guess if it wasn't for a felony that would be the difference. I'm talking about the guy up now.
