Most time people with strong religious believes does not/will not give someone death.

I'm very religious and I would have NO problem whatsoever giving ICA the DP.

But I can understand why someone would not. it is hard, esp. when someone's life is on the line.

I bet KC hates hearing all these people speak of their jobs, family, schooling, plane tickets purchased for vacation, people with lives to live. Bet she thought everyone would be clamoring to get on her jury.

She's just wondering why they can't just steal money to pay their bills.

Ok - a quick google and Florida does not require compensation for Jury duty time

They can't fire you but are not legally required to pay you.

HHJP:could enroll in fall session and check with employer about being paid

hardship, hospital contractor doesn't know if they would keep it open, doesn't think they pay (paid today) - cleans out confidential paper bins for shredding, HHJP asks if he will check w company, are there other reasons - no/then yes; currently enrolled in school and would like to take classes this summer (would miss that but he doesn't know length of semester etc)

subject to recall but needs to check with emplyer about payment
