ICA actually tried to relate to her - unless she was agreeing that she could not serve and hoping she gets excused, but ICA did nod her head yes when the juror said a mom takes better care than a dad.

Maybe we have a potential young mother for the jury?

  • #1,544
I liked her. Glad she is at least through until the next round.

This juror gets paid for 3 weeks max of jury duty by a trucking company.

  • #1,546
That seems unfair. This would totally change her life at this time. They should let her go.

I agree with you. I'm very surprised that people don't think that delaying someone's schooling for up to 5 months isn't a hardship.

She is a Nursing Student. SA wants her...

Student, working, married, child, managing all that. Wonder what ICA thinks of all that

I hope Casey realizes the burden she is putting on these jurors to decide her guilt..

Juror #1369
Male - yes hardship - gets pays for 3 weeks max - put in hole a little bit, would be tough - not big deep hole - $5000.00 hole - would take a year or so to recover

No questions
Excused

I'm beginning to think that Florida should have held auditions like American Idol, LOL, that way they would only get jurors who actually would and could be on the jury..................I was kidding but it's beginning to make sense.:floorlaugh:

IMO, the Judge gave her room to say it was too much. She didn't do that.

She'll go...this is only round one.

I'd say that guy was being conservative on $5,000.

OMG - this woman has a 5 year old and says she feels funny leaving her alone with father...because nobody can take care of kids like mom....and HHJP says something along the lines of "yes, you cant' turn your back on them ..they get into stuff"

YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON ICA'S FACE

BBM

Oh great, just what ICA and the DT needs - yet another idea for a theory. :banghead:

I wonder how many jurors have to tell the court that being away from work would create a hardship before ICA learned a lesson in life that you have to work to support yourself instead of stealing from your family and friends? Or do you think she still doesn't get it?
