How many potential jurors do they want for the second round of questioning on Friday? Does anyone know? This is agonizingly slow.

twice a week to the doctor when pregnant?

I noticied this Cheney Mason argues much of the time for the potential jurors not be excused. I noticed a few times people were trying to get out of it for religious reasons and he did not want to excuse them.

The state would have to use their strikes for these people. Hopefully they wouldn't make it after being asked about the DP.

She just schedules visits? Twice a week? Only 3 months??

Ummmmmmm pregnant people usually go by weeks pregnant....and that early normal appointments are 4 weeks.

Is she going by the KC pregnancy calendar??

I think printing a list of all the excuses and releasing them in a book would be a good idea....Lots of people would like to use some of the more creative ones.

My Goodness~~ IF nothing else KC is getting exposed to reality of life..there are far more people who are actually dealing with issues far worse than she ever faced...Yikes..IF nothing else this is a "REALITY CHECK"..course dont believe she gives a care!!

Lady expecting child needs to be excused. I think she goes to the chiro twice a week, not the obgyn.

This lady is unemployed, yet would suffer no financial hardship? :waitasec: She gets foodstamps and medicaid. :waitasec:

Great. She's on food stamps and unemployed, and now she's having a baby. Wonderful. Doesn't ANYBODY think ahead in this day and time??

This pregnant lady is going to chiro twice a week for a car accident for as long as the "case goes"...which sounds like she is suing? She is also unemployed. Probably will be dismissed.

I am confused about her pregnancy.

Ohhhh did I detect a sly little smile by his honor when he said "Mr Mason, any questions". The defense does not want to seat a pregnant woman on the jury.

  • #2,715
this is all goofy....

however, I wonder what impact juror stipend would have on her unemployment benefits?

  • #2,716
This woman is a real winner - forget about it.

Twice a week to the Ob/Gyn? That would seem like a high risk pregnancy to me.

No that was the chiro from her accident...
