I really don't understand why she's allowed to go through every single mitigating circumstance. Explain what a 'mitigating circumstance' is, explain that the judge will tell them they are allowed to consider them, and ask them if they will be able to do that. :cow:

Exactly, I'm sure there are plenty of good employees who have committed capital murder and are/were on death row in the state of Florida! jmo

Ted Bundy had a lot of positive job references and schooling as well.....just saying....:truce:

Who's going to do the victim impact statement for Casey? She's pretty much throwing her entire family under the bus with her mitigating circumstances....

Cindy, George, Lee will give Victim Impact statements..most definitely

Need to edit...I was thinking of something different

The A's may say something about Caylee and how much they loved her BUT they will be very careful because they do not want Casey to get the DP..
They will say they have already lost Caylee and do not wish to lose Casey.
IMO

This is utterly rediculous, they are asking questions specific to the case to feel out how the jurors will take the info they plan to give. Is this really allowed? I mean really, if they think she's truly innocent then the facts don't change! I'm just so confused as to why they are allowed to pose specific questions about thier case, it's like they are at trial FGS!!!!

No it is not! the honorable judge (whom I love) gave SPECIFIC instructions re the same! Why the pt isn't objecting is beyond me! They did yesterday....

My thoughts-

I believe the DT is showing their hand in a attempt to see the jurors reactions to the various scenarios- abuse, brain development, impulse control, lack of maturity, etc. IMO, they will highlight the 'scenario' that was most readily received. jmo

He's hinting at the 48 Hours special on KC.

Hmmm, I wonder how CA and GA's Victim Impact Statement (VIS) would read out. Usually a VIS's are highly emotional, gut wrenching, moments in time when direct family members get to have their say about the defendant during the penalty phase.

How can these parents, after siding with this "allegedly" murderous mother/daughter, but still have be able to convey their hurt at Caylee's loss. Who will stand up for Caylee because, IMHO, it will and can never be Casey's parents.

What just happened?

HHJP running through all the items of presumption of innocence - Mr. George up now.
Cameras in the court room - cameras are recording your voice only - have you been inhibited by that. Yes, - how so. Just all the newness, comfortable now. In the jury, cameras again, not photographing you, would you have a problem with that?
