10 min recess. Casey is up and rubbing those forearms like she has some godawfull arthritis or something. What is up with that? Does she do it consciously, and what is she trying to portray? A handicapped defendant with hand/ wrist/ arm/ elbow troubles?
I really can't stand her to the point now where I not only don't believe anything that comes from her mouth, I also don't beleive her gestures and expressions.

You know I would think I'm the type of person even given all the knowledge I have on this case and even my opinion of her being guilty that I still could sit in that court room, hear the evidence...then when it comes to the Judges instructions apply it to what I know and deliver a verdict that is fair of what the LAW tells me to do.

ITA but concede that that may be an over-inflated view of my ability to do so, IYKWIM.

No, I'm on it and watching this. How do I get both up at the same time so I don't have to watch, come back to this and miss some great facial expression or something, then go back and forth.
Open WS in one window, open your live stream in another window. Go down to your toolbar on your desktop, right click>tile windows vertically. They will both be up on your screen and will not auto minimize the stream if you begin to scroll WS page.. Resize windows however you like.

Holy Moly! How did ICA react to that???
She really didn't react at all.
Strange.
But not strange for ICA, of course.

I think this woman would be potential foreperson if she makes it on. I really, really like her.

She's a teacher! They are the best! BTW: My daughter is a teacher! :blushing::giggle:

The guards have the CIA headphones today? Or have they always and I just missed it? Why on earth did ICA grab Dottie's arm like that?? She's just .....odd.

Like I said, just getting in after soccer games and will have to leave shortly for awards, CA and GA aren't in the house are they??

I second the Hi Daughter from New Hamphshire!!!

No they said they would not attend and based on what the Defense has been saying particularly during the mitigating phase of questioning - it's fair to say they would never have made it to the first day of the trial before being booted out.

My family still has some serious concerns about my "imaginary friends" online.:innocent:

Tell them we think "they" are imaginary.

I could see this lady as jury foreman.

  • #472
ICA doesn't like this woman. She looks nervous. She's rubbing those hands again. Sweater is on..Do we see a panic attack coming?

JB: is this the first time you have to caparmentalze?

the other jury was a year and a half, two years ago.

JB: but have you had to take what you know and put it aside to ignore what you really know.

Excuse me...that is not what happens in a trial. the person does not have to "put aside what they really know" agggg his questions...what are they?

This lady slipped when she started speaking about her daughter. NH, my daughter...it will change you life...when caught on that she starts waxing poetic about her civic duty...

it amazes me how much MORE information comes out from these people after being asked these same things over and over and over...I almost dont blame the defense nor the SA-if you keep on asking you uncover...

crazy. IMHO

Yes, that's true. Keep asking and they will spill. Where the DT wastes time is when they keep asking over and over the same old questions when you know the juror is going to be dismissed. Too much is too much, iykwim.

It is an old trick, though, to phrase and rephrase to see what comes out of people's mouths. The answers can be verrrry in-te-res-ting.

Teachers don't as much respect as they should IMO.

ICA "I'M COLD!!"

JB' swarmy, smiley, flirty "May I call you Ms. Juror #@@@@?" tone would turn me off right from the get go. He was so flirty with that lady juror yesterday, ICA musta been pi@@ed! JMO

OT...my sister in TX, who doesn't really follow cases but catches bits and pieces...just wrote me..."I think she is a cold-blooded killer of her own child, she wanted to compete to be dancing queen, I am not a blood-thirsty sort, but am for this girl."

She is a teacher, btw...and we were all raised v. liberal so this is a strong statement from anyone in our family.

Potty break for the judge. He looked like he was about to explode...tee hee.
