IDK, I've said or typed things (the cops are idiots or useless) out of frustration in regards to a crime in my own country and my feeling that LE wasn't doing enough, but I didn't really mean they're useless, I was just blowing off steam.

I agree totally. Something hinky to me when someone says they don't pay attention to news. There's too much going on in the world - not to mention their own communities - to not pay attention. Between the war, natural disasters or just gas prices - I just don't see how it's possible to not be curious what's going on around you. I could see not following this case (like we have) but to not pay attention to ANY news? If it's honestly true, those people are truly extremely self-absorbed.

Well, there are quite a few young people who are not into anything but their own lives, their girlfriends, having a beer, their own interests, etc. I guess it is not unsual for people of his age to be somewhat self absorbed and not into the news. They can outgrow that once they get married and have kids and the world becomes more important. I'm not too worried.

Can't put my finger on it, but I don't like this guy for the state. I don't think he fully realizes actually having to vote for DP or LWOP for that matter.

I know my opinion is different from just about everyone else's here, but I actually do not like this guy as a juror. One thing is that he is an actor. I have other reasons as well.

It will surprise me if the State doesn't try to strike him. I think he is trying to please too hard.
