Well, there are quite a few young people who are not into anything but their own lives, their girlfriends, having a beer, their own interests, etc. I guess it is not unsual for people of his age to be somewhat self absorbed and not into the news. They can outgrow that once they get married and have kids and the world becomes more important. I'm not too worried.

Agree that many young people are self absorbed. Agree that it is not uncommon for young people to not pay attention to the news, having a false belief (IMO) that it does not affect them. As a mom of 6 young adults, I know very well....and constantly try to keep them aware....lol... However, it is because of that tendency, when a PJ gets on the stand and expresses that tendency...they dont make good jurors... As they are unable to look outside of themselves and make a decision that would have serious consequences for another.

I know my opinion is different from just about everyone else's here, but I actually do not like this guy as a juror. One thing is that he is an actor. I have other reasons as well.

It will surprise me if the State doesn't try to strike him. I think he is trying to please too hard.
