Sorry if this has been asked, but does HHJP still want 8 alternative jurors even after he has sworn in 12?

Over the past few days, I've really learned how many people don't like or don't watch Nancy Grace. Lol.

I am not sure they are all telling the full truth. They know they will be off the jury if they dare admit that.

These jurors are all tired as they have been back and forth to the court and sat and waited and waited.

I'm tired and I haven't even been back and forth to court all week. Even had to resort to taking Excedrin for the first time in more than a month, cuz my head hurt. I feel for these poor prospective jurors; I really do.

Honestly, I am not sure what he is going to do...

they have wifi in the courtroom - they're looking it up on the fly... how they got the twitter account, I don't know :innocent:

A lot of people just use their name for their twitter account.

Also, if you have to put your email address on the questionnaire, they can do a search that way on twitter and fb, photobucket, flickr, etc.

I'm not sure about the reason for striking the last juror. But clearly the state didn't like something and the defense did. HHJP seemed to disagree with the state. I;m on the fence but if they have a chance to use their peremptories later as "back strikes" once everyone who has made it through questioning has, then I'm thinking they may have jumped the gun again. There could be jurors who are much worse for the state. I hope they are not acting impulsively.

I got the sense that the State found he could be shown as "Biased" maybe against LE..so JP accepted the the strike by the state..

Maybe the young male was giving ICA certain looks the SA didn't like that we didn't see? KWIM? I feared something like this from the start, not that I know for sure it's even true in his case, but I'd want to avoid males around her age or younger for this reason.

I also thought he seemed way too smooth, he is an ACTOR afterall, so I'm not upset he's gone.

eta..It's also possible ICA was giving him looks, maybe even smiled a few xs at him..Heck, we just learned about 2 women who fell in love with prison inmates, what's to say a juror won't fall for (or be infatuated) with the defendant? I do believe that's happened before.

This could be a 'paranoid' stretch I know but def not worth the risk. imo Besides, as much as we can't stomach looking at ICA I'm sure some of the younger males do find her attractive..Sad/sick but true!
