Mitigating circumstances are excuses.

I'm going to hazard a guess that the state will not object to this juror and the defense will try their hardest to find a reasonable objection that the judge would consider.

She seems comfortable in her skin and asserting her opinion regardless of whether someone else may not share that opinion.

I worry about her with DNA, and other scientific evidence.
I don't think she'd have any trouble grasping the evidence or legal concepts, at all.

I think she is just a southern woman who speaks slowly. Doesn't mean she thinks slowly.

LOL. Yesterday the magic word was "mercy". Today it's "cart before the horse". Monday will be "helicopter". :)

Let's vote to give the SCALE the death penalty...and forget lethal injection.

One more minute of this voice and questioning and I will be crying "MERCY"

This woman juror seems timid, but then comes back with answers that show her independent thinking. She is not real religious, and is open and capable of going with the DP. I have no problem with her.

Well, I hope she lives through the trial, frankly. But she doesn't seem at all as bad as the first lady to get through to the jury. She seems to basically understand what's going on, is honest if she hasn't thought about something before and decisive when she knows what she feels. She seems sure about using her common sense. I get the feeling that she is a bit more on the conservative side. She seems to know how to follow rules and takes this seriously. We'll see.

I've been watching on this link as well. When the feed starts shuffling, I reload the page and it comes right back up. Hope that helps!

Guys, I have never had a problem with cnn. It's stellar and always covering: http://www.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=stream3
