I'm surprised she made it through. I liked her as a juror until it came out about her son's bad check and grandson's arrest. I would have liked to hear why the dui was a "mistake."

The court may want to put some more thought into the questionnaire about crimes, law enforcement, etc.

I don't think she is a follower, I think she's an independent thinker and thinks before she speaks. Which leaves me surprised she forgot about her son's and grandson's legal issues when she answered the questionnaire.

I don't know.. It's gotta be hard to not want to talk about other's issues... Probably trying to protect her.

The questionnaire might be ambiguous on that point.

I thought it said "Have you or anyone in your family ever been convicted of a crime?" If so I would not have disclosed the DUI arrest either. Plus I thought arrests without convictions were supposed to be dropped from your record after 7 yrs.

I just can't imagine a defense attorney not wanting to talk to more than 30-40 or so people for a DP case...I know they take a chance with every strike but not to use all 10 seems weird to me.
