2011.05.14 Jury Selection Day SIX (morning session)

Do you know anyone who went through the legal process. Mom married to someone who is in jail. Mom knew some guy who is in jail - married him in jail, not sure what he is in jail for. He stole a car or raped someone or something, not sure. Do you have any feelings about this circumstance. Don't think his mom should be married to be someone in jail. Uncle was in jail for writing a bad check, no longer in jail. Would not affect his ability to sit as a juror.

Keep asking about legal problems like they have something on him. lived in pinnelas county in 04. First time in court house. watches law and order once in a while. His mom married to someone in jail uncle in jail. Mom married man while he was in jail. Still in jail. Doesn't know the whole story. Heard lots of stories. Maybe stole a car or raped someone. Doesn't like that his mom is married to someone in jail. Doesn't affect his opinion on the case. Uncle had bad check. not in jail anymore. Won't affect his ability to sit on case.

Honestly, I like AF - though it gets boring hearing her speech over and over again. I think she is trying to get across the gravity and finality of the death penalty, and the decisions the PJ may face. And that death is not the only option for punishment.

This is the first time I've watched jury selection, so I don't know if this is the appropriate time for "schooling" the PJ's, esp. after HHJP has..

I don't necessarily believe in the death penalty, either.

I have to say that this is kinda sad and messed up. Come do your civic duty and have every bad thing you did or had done to u in the past be exposed. It just doesnt seem fair or right. More lives affected by miss ica.

LDB is asking probing questions about his life,as opposed to AF waffling on about mercy. He should not be on. He is completely bland about all these serious matters, then reveals his family legal history. None of what he says is true, he has opinions..
