i wonder how many of them were honest about what all they know about this case.
i'm 2000 miles away and whenever you mention "casey anthony" everyone perks right up... they know the whole story. even the receptionist at my dentist's office... and she's almost senile.

My DD had a party last night and someone mentioned that Anthony chick - I almost fell over thinking they were referring to ICA - no it seems they have a classmate... :blushing:

Sorry, totally OT, but is JB no longer married? I did not see a wedding ring on his hand.

It's sooo hard to retain all this stuff for 3 years, but I thought (don't ask me how I got the info, but somewhere on Websleuths) that JB has divorced and remarried since starting with ICA.

I remember something about "trouble in paradise" with his wife and possibly a divorce but I never heard anything about him remarrying - IF they divroced at all. But I could be wrong.

Thank you Miss James! I agree, and while I understand this poster's frustration, I'm not sure posters who do not spend 8/10/12 hours a day watching and posting on live feed appreciate how difficult it actually is.

The threads zoom along at an alarming rate so you will see multiple posts about the same thing. And sometimes we go slightly off topic for something that is funny or concerning because we need a relief break. For many of us this is a sacrifice we are making away from own real time lives. Yes, we choose to do it, and worry about what we "should" be doing at the same time. Some of us, like me, work full time at at the same time, and are constantly juggling phones, documents, news feed, blah, blah. I don't think any of us are sitting here because we have nothing better to do.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant - I don't mean it that way. Just saying, until you try it two or three days in a row, you might not understand why the "final product" turns out the way it does.

Yes, 8:30am tomorrow to resume jury selection. The first article, from the Orlando Sentinel, was referring to the actual trial getting underway in Orange County. MOO

I know I read the same thing but from what I understand he had his "pretty wife" with him on GR's boat (Lorraine) and she was named in the foreclosure (Lorena) in May 2010.

Yes she did this in her letters with cupcake or whatever name she used, the lady in jail.

KC is a con artist, a chameleon. She will say what she perceives as your weakness to reel you in. Then she scams you.

I've heard mention of at times there are a lot of guards around KC and that there were not that many in OC. Even though DT claims KC is a "model" prisoner could it be possible that she may be giving her new guards a little bit of a hard time. Maybe a little temper showing in the back room. We know she hates bologna. jmo

I'm going to be away for three weeks at the end of the month and until June 18th so I plan on just checking the news thread daily and scanning the threads to see if anything is interesting. I'll be out of the country so I will be cruising thru the threads and taking notes on what to check when I get back. I understand everyone wants to add their comments because this is what it is all about so I figured checking on the separate threads will give me an idea, i.e. Anthony's plan to sue BC. It also gives me an idea of what is happening and when I have time after I get back I will watch the trial parts I missed after the trial is finished. I recommend watching those videos even if it takes a couple of nights. Then you know what to look for by way of comments in the threads figuring out approximately what time the event happened. jmo

Once upon a time...it was the end of August, 2008. Leonard P. was huffing and puffing about bailing Casey out. It was making us all crazy here. I had a vacation planned and only worried that Casey would be let out while I was away so I made my kids bring a laptop to follow the board at night. And, yes, the unthinkable happened just mere days before I was due back in the States. I was so glad that I could be here for that, but my family thought I was whacked!
End of story.

Yes, there will be a hugh influx of behind the scenes happenings and we are going to be interviewing those covering the trial, because we don't really care about the trial just those who need to report the trial. Whose working hard and whose hardly working, what they wear, whose had the worse hair or bad hair day, what are they eating in those trailers they have parked on the street. It is news the way we see it., across the street, in the dirt parking lot and around downtown. Ever wanted to file a report, we have some media outlets interested so sign up.

FYI : I am just passing this information on from the City Of Orlando FlashMob folks. I did not start this and am not participating in it.

I missed the last PJ that many raved about so I checked it out on WFTV..In Part 15 (?) is when I also got to see that 'moment' between ICA & Baez when she came back in from the last recess of the day..The one where he was standing near the table as she tried to get by him..He moved slightly & she breezed right past him..Once in her chair she immediately turned & talked to Miss F completely ignoring him..Is that the 'incident' I saw mentioned here between them or is it another one? I was unable to watch/listen at all yesterday, so spent late last evening and this morning reading the threads for morning and afternoon from yesterday.

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who posted about the jury selection.

Second, I do want to state that the number of extraneous posts is absolutely maddening when you go back in trying to pick up a missed day! Not trying to be rude here AT ALL, but the continuous posts about "there's a big storm at my house now" "it is raining hard at my house now" "I heard we are going to get a big storm here later today" are taking up a whole lot of time and space.

And yes, they can and are being scrolled through.

Was there not an instruction/agreement that the "Trial Thred" would be for trial related info only and the "Side Bar Thread" would be more for the extraneous comments?

I am not referring to "witty comments" . I am referring to "I just got back from T-ball, what's happening?" "I have to go out to the store now - hope I don't miss too much" and "Just took a long nap, what did I miss?" type of things.

Or, during the testimony will mods be doing a "Clean Up" thread? (And I know that has to take FOREVER to go back in and delete all the extraneous stuff.)

Is there any proposed solution for this?

If the Sidebar stayed open I would happily stay in here. :innocent:

I noticed LDB's shoes Thursday or Friday. Loved them!! My props to those of you that watch and cover this non-stop. I have it on all day at work, but work is suffering and I cannot continue this!! Had it on a little yesterday but AF came up and I had to leave. I chuckle as I imagine everyone's tires squealing out of the court parking and then the motel to get back home for a day or so. Don't know if JA and Mr. George have kids, but I wonder about LDB's kids (anyone know how many and what age) and wonder if they have a clue and if not they certainly will later on in their lives as they remember mom working out of town and see how big of a case it actually is. I'm surprised that GA and CA didn't go at least one day. Must have killed them I think. CA is such a media attention grabbing person.

I just admire everyone from JP's staff and the SA team for the work and effort that is going into this. We had a 2 week trial at work recently that turned into a 3 week and it takes it toll. I cannot imagine how those involved feel.

But, I think it will be a life changing event. Their lives will be changed in some form. Books, talks shows, etc. Not that significant for some but good golly, an event to remember for sure.

Now...off to get my crock pot ready for some chili making.

I saw on another site -the evening after she had her hand pain meltdown that a 911 was placed for an ambulance to the jail for a prisoner who was 'emotionally disturbed'... I've been wondering ever since if it was her since the Guards doubled overnight and she was very subdued the next day!
