WTH... JB you really are blowing it with these jurors. We won't tell any of the other jurors you're a chef? Was that supposed to be funny?

  • #682
Baez trying to be likable...I promise we won't tell the other jurors you're a chef....

He really is trying to change his demeanor...he knows if a jury doesn't like him they will not like his client....

JB yuks it up, says "we won't tell other jurors that you're a chef"

PJ does not yuk it up too.

  • #684
Baez treating him like a 2-yr old (pardon the pun) but he's speaking too simply, this guy is more articulate than that...!

  • #685
shivers....JB trying to be cutesy....gives me the creepy crawlies

Go to the privacy settings area and look for the fine print regarding internet access. I cannot remember exactly what the link says...but...I really had to hunt for it. I'll see if I can find better specifics for ya.
Steps to ensure the public cannot search you:

Account
Privacy Settings
Apps and Websites (bottom left side of page)...Check "Edit Your Settings"
Public Search...Check "Edit Your Settings"
Enable Public Search...Uncheck this box!!!!

Note: Even after doing this, your FB will be accessible via cache for a bit of time (I think mine was still accessible for a nervous couple of hours but then disappeared).

HJP looked like he was shaking his head no.....when letting this pj go

well then why didn't he do what he did saturday and deny the strike?

why?

he did it then. not now.

why?

Jose worried about seeming "redundant" or "obvious" lol a bit late in the game, eh?

This juror is familiar with police dogs....wonder if that will get him struck?

Hmmm... curious. Mr. Baez has not used his charming "May I call you #xxxx?" today. :waitasec:

That's because we raked him over the coals for it. Like it or not.....idiot bloggers are a valuable consultant that he doesn't pay for.

Well....actually he doesn't seem to pay anyone does he?

I noticed that too, probably read all the smarmy icky comments and decided it might be better to give it a rest.

A swing and a miss, Beaz!

My husband doesn't follow the case and I don't tell him anything bout it . . . he really doesn't want to hear it. Once in awhile I will talk to my friend about this case, (who also doesn't follow) and I have one family member who knows about the case but doesn't follow along. I rarely discuss this case with anyone in RL because no one knows about it.

My DH doesn't follow it as closely as I do but he does know the basics, and he has watched Nancy at times, but I have no one else to discuss it with in RL.I once tried to explain this case to 2 co-workers(I know they think I'm nuts to be so interested in this),one of them right away said that it was obvious that KC must have mental problems and needed help ,not jail time. That frustrated me and scared me,hoping that we don't get a juror who falls for that!

Baez comes across as so condescending.

My impression was that the PJ was insulted when Baez made that comment about not telling the other PJ's that he is a chef. Nice way to ingratiate himself with this PJ. He (Baez) needs to keep his smart-alecky comments to himself.

He saves that for the ladies.:floorlaugh:

baez is using his voir dire portion as a time and a podium to coach the jurors..

it makes me want to hurl

Here's some more advice JB, stop treating PJ like they are dummies.

Does it bug anyone else how ICA sits there making notes all the time. It's like she thinks she's the secretary on a legal team, not the defendant!

I've seen a few English trials (I'm a Brit) but I have yet to see one where the defendant sat writing the whole time. JMO.

they told her, you've got to hide your emotions.

and doodling is the only thing that works.

Just JB opening his mouth sets me off and I'm sure that would be the case for all the jurors after 1/2 a day of hearing him.

PJ should have said ok and don't you worry I won't tell anyone you are a lawyer. Yuck, yuck, yuck.
