Still at 11. Got to 12 again and JB struck another one.

Oh No! :banghead:

Thank you. :)

I have been thinking that the defense are delaying IMO, now it really looks like that!

Did he oppose for legitimate reasons? Or is it obvious he is trying to delay?

With all due respect, this is not only about the defendant's right to a fair trial. HHJP is making sure her due process rights are being protected per the U.S. Constitution. HOWEVER, most importantly this is about seeking justice for a murdered 2 1/2 year old defenseless child.

It is called the justice system for a reason.

However, it is basic that for evidence to be admitted it must be "relevant" i.e. it must have probabtive value in relation to a matter bearing upon the guilt or innocence of the Defendant.

With respect, I don't see how such evidence (such as a collage of Caylee, pre-homicide) is probative to the matter of ICA's guilt

And the State strikes her.

Way too much love for CM going on there for the state's comfort IMHO.

State exercises peremptory....good choice IMO

Does that mean they have 4 left now?

I like this juror. In my mind she is a small grandmotherly type. When she walked in, I noticed a couple of people in the audience got an involuntary smile just looking at her. Would love to know if I'm right! Where's Jim Lichtenstein when ya need him?

50ish blonde with big hair, according to JL

I thought that was odd questioning with CM... sounded like it was a little tea party.

I didn't like that he asked her to judge if she'd 'judge' them not having any witnessess... wow I expected the next was... and that we don't have any evidence either.. omg

I don't think they are ever going to make it to twelve. It will be a miracle if this case starts on Monday.

Wow -- state strikes. And we stand at 11. Outta here for soccer practice. I'm sure we'll still be at 11 tomorrow morning. Geeze....poor Judge Perry. He had such high hopes.

bbm

I'm not so sure about that. Caylee's cuteness and the way she held a captive audience thus dimming the spotlight on her mother could have a lot to do with why her mother killed her.

Hmm. That is an interesting theory. It would be even more interesting to see what the judge would rule if the State were to make that argument.

How long will this last today? nyone know?
I had to leave a coule hours ago.......thanks to all
that posted, I'm catching up.........I think
