Is it just me or does anyone else think having a child sitting in that courtroom is inappropriate?

He seems to be paying attention, and imo it's a good civics educational experience to watch the process. He looks to me to be about middle school age.

Guys, I see some are calling them "preemptive strikes" I've been calling them peremptive strikes. As English is not my native language, can someone please tell me which one is correct: Preemptive or Peremptive? Or do they mean the same thing?

The DT wants to Force her to be on this Jury..
