This is getting to me .. I can just imagine what the Judge and State is feeling

Even after the potential jurors made it this far each side gets to boot a certain amount of the potential jurors with challenges.

I think the number each side has is 8 or 9 and that is what they are doing.

Thanks, I got that. But how are there going to be 12 left and some alternates???

HHBP just asked Mr. Baines to go ahead and get the 11 people they agree to started driving their direction . . .he cannot swear in less than 12.

New juror coming in . . . kc looking very nice in pink collared shirt with matching pink v necked sweater that is not too low cut. . . she is talking to some dark haired lady @ defense table.

So how many does each side have left now? Sounds like JB is considering some more backstrikes to keep the judge from swearing 12 in.

We had 17; down to 11. So a total of 6 were used, but I don't know from which side (each). Did anyone note the record? The good thing is once all the strikes are used, they're used, and the DT and SA get what they get (unless for cause).

That is exactly what I took from it too. JB confirmed they were at 11 then said no more at this time.

the only thing that brings me comfort is the possibilty that the DT are paying their own hotel and entertainment (food) expenses.....:maddening:--I think they are up to something to derail this whole process.....:banghead:
