Wouldn't put it past the DT to try to "manufacture" some sort of connection just to strike for cause and delay, delay, delay some more!

"Would you want to be on the jury?"

(awkward pause)

"No."

"Why?"

"I have a good life and I don't want to interrupt it."

OS says RK lived in Key West when he was in the CG. That's so silly. I'm in Philly but I never met Ben Franklin.

JB just blew it he got the PJ to admit he had training in border officer training. LOL that is LE

  • #846
Oooooh here we go! I hope they take him!

My feed stopped so I refreshed and I was a good 5 minutes behind. Did they keep this juror?

Hmmm, so Roy Kronk was in the CG.

And I heard that Kronk once bought a Roomba off of HSN! J/K  :innocent:

Geez, the DT better strike him! :loser:

I agree with posters up thread, this is really an agonizing process. I have been called a couple of times for jury duty. (not in Florida) There were over a hundred people called, brought to a very large courtroom, given basic instructions, information etc. Then for the particular case coming up, they gave basic information and then asked questions to excuse jurors, for example we had to acknowledge if we knew or were peripherally involved with any of the defendants. In the first case, I recognized the story of a baby's death, and other information, and realized it was a situation with a neighbor. At the end of general session after I talked with the attorneys, I was immediately excused for that trial, but moved on to another. We were called to serve cases that were happening in that week.

In this situation, we likely would have been asked if we could vote for the death penalty, thr trial would be a hardship in any way, they would meet with these folks individually, and usually these were excused, so by the time it got to real jury selection, most of the pj's were ABLE TO SERVE. Much more efficient.

Is this the juror that went to work this morning?

<mod snip> . . . did anyone catch if they had a discussion about keeping this juror or they wanted to discuss it between themselves and were going to break for 5 to do that. . .

IS reporting that the Brandon they were speaking of, is Roy Kronks son that was stationed in Virginia

  • #858
JB wanted him to try and state he only had training as a mechanic not any capacity of Law Enforcement but however JB blew it and the PJ admitted he had "On Site" training on boarding officer.

Thinking since AF didn't even question PT that DT has long decided he is a 'no way'. :twocents:
