I wish to heck HHJP or someone would explain to each new PJ the meaning of the words aggravating and mitigating actually mean. Many posters on the board are still struggling with the concept after a great deal of discussion and reading - how would someone who walks into a courtroom automatically know what they are and when they are used???

I agree LDB needs to turn on the charm some when talking to these pjs.

My daughter doesnt watch tv. but she would be lost without computer.

My sister lives next door and has no tv either. She also has no computer. She comes over to use mine! She is young, just out of college and works two jobs just to pay her bills. With the cost of everything rising, it's not too hard to imagine someone not having cable or internet.

And he also knew Caylee's name

Caylee was mentioned explicitly a number of times when HH read them the indictment. They all know who the victim is.

I like this guy... I don't think he is hinky

moo

When he said he got from the tv that ICA was on trial, it sounds like he was watching something yesterday.

He might have to work all the time to make ends meet. No gas to get to court house. When i was young we worked two jobs a piece to make ends meet. I had no tv when we were first married because we couldnt afford cable bill.

She may have, he knows nothing but knows the victims name is Caylee..hmmm

I don't find it hinky, odd, strange (or whatever adjective one wants to use) that this pj knows Caylee's name. JP said Caylee's name several times when he read ICA's indictment to the pj's.

Shot of ICA - doing an unusual thing with her eyes - blink look up the PJ, look down the PJ, blink, repeat, repeat, repeat....odd...

Lera - I'm getting an acting vibe a la "as seen on TV" with a side of opportunity - can't say why and I hope I'm wrong
So I'm not alone....That makes me feel better

While I love this guys voice and I can appreciate he wore a suit for court, my gut is telling me to NOT let this guy on the jury. I have a very bad feeling about him!! Even more so than the older lady we have all been worried about. For some reason, he's making me really nervous. Strike him please!

Maybe it's just because I hang out with a lot of wacky artists, but I can think of about 5 friends off the top of my head who don't have a tv or a computer.

Also, if he can't afford gas, the computer and tv might not be at the top of his list. For all we know his money goes to rent, or to support children.I know that V and I always said that if we couldn't afford it, internet and tv would be the first things we cut.

Also, the suit could have been a priority for interviewing for jobs. Or church. Or a wedding. Or a funeral. I don't immediately discredit him. I think if he were desperately trying to get on the jury (enough to lie) then he would have FOUND a way to be here on time yesterday, since he had no idea he would be called back again today.

Just a few thoughts:)

All good ones Baby! Thank you :)

Does anyone know what his profession is?

My mother had a tv just to watch 2 shows -other than that her nose was in a book. She read all the time. It was her choice for entertainment. She never had a computer either.

An observation: Earlier, while HHJP was addressing the issue of this PJ inadvertently having entered the courtroom prematurely and possibly heard a few seconds of the defense's motion this morning, ICA was busily writing on her tablet. AF leaned over and appeared to instruct her to stop (IMO). KC seemed a little annoyed, but indicated compliance (a slight nod?) and promptly set the pen down.

Since that interchange, ICA has been sitting uncharacteristically still in her black, low-cut blouse, with her hands beneath the table out of sight, displaying an appropriately serious expression. That conspicuously unused pen is just lying there gleaming.... all that blank space on the yellow tablet, waiting to be filled.... wonder how long she will be able to refrain? (JMO)

(Note: As I finished typing the above, KC impulsively grabbed the pen and started scribbling a note, while HHJP continues his "weighing the factors" inquiry with this PJ.)

Or he simply could have borrowed a suit for court.I've borrowed dresses for events as I don't wear them.

If having a phone with a data plan is more important than having enough gas money to get to work or court (he said he didnt yesterday), then he would have the priorities of a young teenager and would not be mature enough to be on the jury. IMO

Yesterday with the options trader - I think - pls correct if wrong

Thanks, yesterday is a complete blur to me, all of the strikes had my head throbbing. I'm hoping we can move forward just a teensy bit today.
