HHJP should ask prosecution whether strike (if no answer), then ask defense. If defense wants to use last stike, move on...

If defense does NOT, we have TWELVE JURORS...

Forget a trial anytime soon. They have two days left and still do not have a jury, not to mention alts. They have to be out of Pinellis by tomorrow evening. Judge will delay this if he has to. Just asked Baez and Baez said I guess we should get to work on this asap.

He has to be ecstatic because there is going to be a delay, imo. No opening statements anytime soon.

Re: the "do you want to start over" proposition, IMO it's a bit like a parent giving a foot-dragging, dawdling child a choice:

Do you want to quit stalling, and finish your homework now so we can make it to the movie on time? If not, we will have to wait until next Saturday's matinee and start this process all over again with a new homework assignment. Your choice.

I imagine HHJP's kids have heard similar parental propositions, ya know? Mine have. HHJP even includes a little speech about the consequences of each choice... just like a wise parent will often do.

Does this approach work with attorneys as well as kids? Well, did you hear JB reluctantly conclude that there is no other answer to give to such a proposition, but "let's get to work?" You never know, maybe we will get this jury seated under the "Perry Plan" after all.

Yeah, I'm confused, too. JB is saying that they want to interview all 15, but does the law state that they must do this? I thought once there was enough for a jury, all the other PJs were just sent home?
