MOO, if a Defense Team argues against a GAG order then they have no right to ask for change of venue or pre-trial publicity

Come on people, those 15 PJs are not going to question themselves. Let's get going.

On IS they are saying that the county may not like being blamed for kicking the case out their courtroom...they are trying to verify if a case is due to start Friday and Beth K. also says there are at least 10 courtrooms there...

JB makes it hard to stomach any of the pre-trial proceedings leading me to seriously question whether I have enough antacid to make it through the real deal. Ack!

Why doesn't the DT visit a frat house to get the pool of jurors? They aren't going to be satisfied until that is what fills those 12 seats! :(

Mike Brooks pointing out to Ryan on IS - You interviewed JB, HE is the one that first brought up race in this case.

We are in desperate need of comic relief right now...SOTS where are you?

If you could see me doing lunges and :pullhair: and saying no, I am too freeking busy for this :phone: you would get it no problem.

on one hand: they could be looking at schedules

on the other hand: they could be looking at the jurors and seeing if they can make it on what they have and what they have left to go

(I pray on the other hand LOL)

State is arguing last PJ excused for cause, I think Judge is agreeing and JB is arguing and arguing. LDB is back there talking, looks like reading transcript to JB

OHhhh, maybe they are looking to clear their calendars for 2032 for opening statements!!

That would be fine with me as long as ICA rots in jail waiting.

All I can say is Wow, just wow. I truly believed they would find an inpartial jury, not one filled with 12 that had heard nothing about this case but at least in this length of time filled it. I think AF is upset. :banghead:

My cat just set his tail on fire with a scented candle. Smell of Hawaiian tropics replaced with smell of burnt fur. An omen? Or just a terribly clumsy cat? :waitasec:

No, he wouldn't care-he doesn't care about shutting down all the pill mills!
Plus I don't think he could do anything. He's in the executive branch and this is the judicial branch. I would think anyone that could do anything would be the AG - Pam Bondi. But I also think Tallahassee doesn't want to get anywhere near this case. And Pam Bondi knows a whole lot about this case as well - she was all over the TV way back when this broke. She stepped aside to run for AG.

I think the long delay really has to do with trying to work out facilities that can accommodate them tomorrow. It is obvious we are going into tomorrow at this point. Even if we swear in 12 today, we still have to seat alternates.

I think this whole process was rushed. I understand why because the pjs were in danger daily of being exposed to media but at this point I would be ok with a "do over".

I'm beginning to wish he never left!

I agree, they should have stayed in Orlando. There are over 2 mil. people there, they can find 20 to be on the jury imo.

Maybe they shouldn't have taken so many 'comfort' breaks!!
