BBM: Yep ...

This is how I like my "Grits" :

Salt ... Butter ("real" Butter) ... Fried Bacon crumbled up in the Grits ... Cheddar Cheese ... all mixed together !

:great::great:

I like mine with melted butter and a dash of pepper :)

I missed one. Love what they say about your answers.

Here's a quiz for the truly obsessed. 0-5 correct answers: You're jury material. 6-10: Might be time to watch the NBA playoffs. 11-15: Turn off Nancy Grace and just walk away.

:floorlaugh:
I got 14 right

Hmmmmmm.....

Loves grits with red-eye gravy, fried ham, fried eggs, sliced tomatoes, toast with butter and homemade plum jelly and cantaloupe

Ok - I'm back

AND with my own big bowl of grits. Yes, I had to go make some. Now my DD is chasing me around wanting what I don't eat (too lazy to go make her own). I keep telling her to Kiss my grits! :floorlaugh:

and I just keep thinking about the movie My Cousin Vinny and the bit with Pesci and grits.

Ok - back to eating. They're SO GOOD!!!

Okay, get it now, a modesty patch for your hee haws! Nicely decorated, love it lol

For your WHAT??? :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Today has been very enlightening, on both threads.

Goat ropes, pasties with bug dye, hee haws, and who knows what else.

:floorlaugh: poor lil puppy :D he forgot he was grown!

I got a funny for yall too....I used to lurk from when this case came out til I signed up, and the delay was due to not having an ISP email to sign up with...so I couldnt hold back any longer and asked my FIL if I could use his email to sign up with....and he said yes so.....

the next day, after I spent all night gleefully posting, my FIL comes to me and says...real embarassed like....."was that you using my email for web sl*ts??!"

although I did correct him, we've been personally calling WS "websl*ts" ever since!

OMG, that is what my DH thought I was on one day using his laptop. What is Web Sl*ts and why are you on it. ROTFLMAO, that is just too funny!

Good Morning all! I hate to ask this but I just got online after having trouble getting online and I'm reading both threads for today and understand that:

1. We are on a long lunch break

2. Only one pot.juror was interviewed this morning

And that is all I can surmise, except for peeps posts about motions and DT stalling.....can someone please, please do a brief update? I hate people who ask for that, but I can't make heads or tails of what is going on.

Pwease!!!!

That's about it. That's why we are talking grits here on this thread! Seriously, there was a motion by JB (argued by Ms. Frye) about delaying the trial. Something to do with they didn't like how the jury was being picked and strikes having to be used. Somebody will have to fill in on that because I MISSED THE WHOLE THING....:banghead:

Motion argued by Fryer that

"waa waa we don't like how you're doing the jury selection, here's some case law on judges abusing their powers - you know kinda like you"

Denied

Pot juror questioned

Side bar

Recess

Side bar

Pot juror tossed out by state (although I thought he was a smoothy)

Judge Perry advising being tossed out of court by end of today/ then told by Judge Perry they were to be given till Saturday

Opening remarks to start Monday at 9 am IF there is a a jury

Long long long lunch

Somewhere in there Baez told us all what a great guy he is because when he took this case he swore, like for realz, pinkie swears and everything, that he would get ICA a fair trial.

We all got our hankies out, it was quite touching, ahem...

me too, me too, I got cheese & onion pasties in the oven, all premade processed junk too. :sigh:

Sounds delish. Never heard of them til DS started on a soccer team with a Cornish coach!! ;)

Honestly . . . my only experience with this was pole dancing my way up from the basement parking lot after being thrown in WS basement imagi-jail on a "F'ing whim!" I have heard stories and I personally have an aversion to tape over any body part . . . ok sorry folks . . . I am getting a little silly . . . probably should eat.

I'm now starting to wonder just what ICA meant by '🤬🤬🤬*ing Whim'? The LE OR her mothers whim. I tend to think it's the latter now. Yup, part of it was based on her 🤬🤬🤬*ing Whim, by lying so much and not knowing where her daughter was. Everybody had those whims:crazy:

I asked on the other thread about goat rope. What is that? Must be a northern thing.

Notice I always differentiate "Southern" and "Northern" things! I guess that's how I see the world.:floorlaugh:

Oh red eye gravy on fried or grilled ham steaks ..... yummy. Lip smackin good. Black eyed peas. And I have a ballgame this afternoon to photograph or I would be in the kitchen cooking like a mad woman.

Many of us have said that JB often reminded us of characters in My Cousin Vinny. Now we have grits talk and I have to roll on the floor laughing. Another Vinny movie classic.

Pwease!!!!

You didn't miss much this morning...Defense set forth a motion regarding jury selection and the unfairness of it all...(whine)---Judge Perry basicaly told them to cool their jets and find case law...then we went on to a potential juror only to have him excused....then mostly "5" minute breaks to discuss this or that---they are in a court of law and I can't figure out what clock they are going with...their five minutes is lots longer than mine!

Oh yeah....jb said he was willing to continue working then wanted and extended lunch.....could go on forever....:banghead:
